Do not go if you are black--this is a very racist place. I am American and I thought I left racism at home. I was told so many great things about how accepting Europe was and was sadly disappointed when I visited sunset.
Last week, I visit alone. It was a little busy and the worker told me that there was no seat for me and told me I had to leave. "Sorry" is what he said. Inside, I really didn't want to leave, because it's the only place near my hotel to relax and it has a cool vibe. I waited outside for a seat to become available. In that time, two women entered and sat with a group that it seemed they didn't know. So when I saw another seat become available, I did the same. Immediately, a worker came over and told me to leave, because the seat was "reserved." I stood up and sadly left peacefully.
I went back today , hoping that I'd have a different experience. It was not busy at all. The worker came to my table after 20 minutes. And he a drily asked "What do you want?" He was so mean to me.
Each time, I was the only black person in the place. I paid my 2,80 for the beer that I had ordered and I left immediately.
Racism is NOT OK. Please do NOT patronize this place if you care to defeat racism. read more
