It's a bit difficult to locate as it is on the second floor and there is only a small sign at the entrance, which is located in a pedestrian only zone. A word of warning to my American friends: German Chinese food is very different from American Chinese food, so come here with an open mind. The hot and sours soup is phenomenal, albeit very different from the American version. The menu is extensive and heavy on morels, bamboo, pork and duck. Entrees are placed on a warming dish in the middle of the table, making sharing easy. For dessert I highly recommend the fried bananas with honey (also very different from the American dish by the same name).

The chicken was tender and duck properly fried.Overall with all these dishes and beer it cost us around 20 Euros for 2 persons, which was just perfect. We were too full for dessert, but even if it's not a holiday I recommend eating here. They take a variety of credit cards.

Of course it's not the best sushi out there, but keeping in mind the extremely low price, this a great deal. Next we had crispy duck with veggies in curry sauce and red Thai curry. The main dishes are generally served with (a decent amount of) rice. Both were good, the Thai curry was not as hot as expected (thankfully!) and my friend enjoyed her duck. I tried the duck, however, and immediately had a piece of bone in my mouth, which imho should not happen with this kind of dish. All in all the food was still warm after I picked it up, it tasted fresh and apart from the duck incident, it tasted as good as Chinese takeaway in this price category can be. I placed the order via phone and was told I could come pick it up in 10 minutes. I arrived 15 minutes later and my food was already ready and waiting for me. The only negative point I have to mention is that I paid for a pack of prawn crackers, was charged for it, but the guy forgot to put them into the bag.
