My daughter loved their gymnastics camp. The new management is professional, courteous and were on the ball as far as COVID precautions.

What a great experience! We were in Vermont for a visit from California and my daughter needed a chance to tune up before the upcoming California state meet. The man who collects the very expensive fee is quite rude to say the least. Hovering over people is an understatement. The instructor for the little ones isn't very attentive to teaching. When I tried to help my daughter understand what she was supposed to be doing the money collector scolded me, so I took him into his office and gave him his own medicine, telling him he had a problem every week, at which point he told me he would give me a refund. If it wasn't going to break my daughter's heart, I would have taken it. Needless to say we are looking for a better place to have gymnastics . read more

I think the response to someone's bad experience that this place wrote was immature and defensive. It seems there are 3 reviews and 2 are the same idea bad. This states the gym is open on weekends with nothing about fall hours I'm glad we called. As it is I see nothing but negative things about this place I'm not sure if I would want to visit. My husband would make that "rude person" feel as small as a gerbil if he ever treated us that way. That's a shame! Maybe they play favorites if you have $ you are welcome but if your under all that then you get the shaft. No matter they probably wont last long anyway. If you're looking for Gru from despicable me, then this is your place. This place should not allow birthday parties. I did the mistake of booking the space for my two kids who turned 4 & 5. First let me start with the lack of compassion. Just before arriving at the location we were in a car accident. Luckily the kids were okay and no one was hurt. We arrived a few mins late do to this and my youngest was still shake up by it. He asked if he could stay with me while I set up. In the process he asked for a cupcake and "GRU" came over and began to yell at myself and my son in front of our guests. Told my son he would not be allowed to play because he ate a cupcake. When I tried to explain that he (my son) was just looking for a little comfort "GRU" basically said he didn't care. All his concern was about the equipment and getting food on it. We were nowhere near the equipment and I was fully prepared to clean him up right before. At this point I assured him that I would keep my son out of the play area. Poor kid cried because he didn't get to enjoy his own birthday party. Way to add more negativity to the day. As time went by "GRU" continued to be excessively rude to our guests. He even said to me that due to our large party we either paid for an extra half an hour or get out by 3. Did I mention we had already paid in advance for an hour and a half and still had an hour left. Oh and he had the numbers ahead of time as well. So the fact that we had 20 children was no surprise. If he felt our party was large shouldn't that extra half have been something discussed the day we booked? I reassured him that we would be out by 2:45 since clearly he was concerned about his equipment. When 2:30 came around he turned off the lights in the play area and demanded everyone leave the play area. He hovered as we sang happy birthday and while we gave our guest their goodie bags. I can't tell you how many parents were extremely annoyed by this mans behavior. He made a few of the children cry and yelled at the parents who used more then one cup for the water. How do you run a place that way? And I'm sorry but if you are so worried about your equipment getting dirty then don't offer the space. And aren't you suppose to wipe down the equipment after each use? Needless to say I will never bring me kids there again. I'm surprised he didn't pop the kids balloons as they walked out. read more

I love Sunrise Gymnastics! My daughter has been going there for summer camp and classes for about four years. Stano, the owner, is the absolute best. He has a great sense of humor, and takes an interest in the kids. Her coaches, Lynn, Emma, Tori, and Ashima, are knowledgeable and supportive. The fees are reasonable, the equipment is top notch, and the staff is great. I'm so grateful that this facility exists for all the children in central Vermont. Last year was a difficult year for my daughter since she transitioned to middle school, and going to Sunrise helped her get through some difficult times. It has awarded her with confidence, social skills, and self discipline. But, most importantly, she learned that if you fall, it is best to just get up again and keep trying.
