Orders for both are taken at the till, if eating in it is best to grab a table first, check out the menu and then send someone up to order. Not so easy if you're eating alone. The menu is limited to traditional fish, chicken, burgers, a few vegetarian options and chips. Hot and soft drinks are available. Yates doesn't have a licence for alchohol so its a quick eat place rather than a destination for an evening meal. The food is tasty and reasonably priced for family meals. I would recommend this as a good place to eat in Walton.
