Any time I visit my Jersey friends I make it a point to stop at one and get my fix, and this stop in Edison was in my most direct path on my way back to Queens so I gave it a try. I ordered an Italian sandwich which was made fresh and hit just right, plus a giant pretzel to take home with me which was delicious. This Wawa was busy but pretty clean which I was happy about. They were well stocked with plenty of premade items too. I was disappointed they didn't have any of their stuffed pretzels available here, but I was here at a weird hour of day so maybe I'd just missed them. I'll obviously be back though because it's conveniently located on my route back to NY.

After filling up my car, he put the fuel cap back on but I did not hear any clicks. I did not get out of my car at that time. Got home and went to check it. Sure enough. The fuel cap was just on but not closed all the way. When I googled it, this is what shows: If a fuel cap is not closed all the way, it can lead to several issues including: fuel vapors escaping, potential check engine light activation due to emissions system errors, increased fuel evaporation, dirt and debris entering the fuel tank, and potentially causing rough idling or difficulty starting the engine; essentially, it can impact your car's performance and fuel efficiency due to the lack of a sealed fuel tank. Not sure what his problem was and had to do something like this to damage my car. This might be an isolated case. In any case, if you do get gas from them especially at night please make sure the gas attendant does close the fuel cap all the way to avoid above issues. Thanks for reading this review! The most recent two times I went here, it took around 10 minutes for my car to register any gas was put in. This is weird, as my car shows the gas filling up as it's being pumped and has never had this delay before. The attendant said it must be my car that's the problem, but it's fine with literally every other gas station? I took my car to a dealer later that day, for an unrelated reason, and mentioned the delay in the gas reading that anything was put into my car. The dealer checked my car and said that the meter was fine. He told me that the only other reason this would happen would be if the gas has been watered down or diluted in some other way. Ever since I stopped using this place I haven't had any issues with the gas meter. The attendant also tried scamming a mom who was on the other side of my gas stall. She asked for $15 of gas, and I heard him repeat it back to her. He then puts in $50 of gas and she's furious. He refused to take off the extra charge. I even told him how I heard her give the correct amount and that he repeated it back. He still refused. Really not fair.
