I'd rather have a Pi-lot than a Pi-little…read more We came to the pilot up here in Toledo just south of the Michigan border a few miles north of the city of Toledo, hoping to get the cheap gas that was advertised on the massive signs, only to find all the pumps were closed down in the middle of the night. Not very useful and very lucky for us that the gas station across the road and a block further west - part of the grocery store - was still open. So we were able to get gas but not here and even though it seems like a truck stop that everybody loves, the one time we came here it wasn't convenient. But I'm sure we'll be back again and I'll reevaluate it then.

The center itself is really super nice with a nice variety of things to do. Parkings abundant and they have EV charging stations here. The outside is attractive and well landscaped. Walking in, the place is clean as a whistle! They have really nice bathrooms with lots of stalls and sinks. They have a lovely starbucks here along with a Marco's Pizza and another place to eat as well. They have a cute dining area too! I didn't feel like waiting in the starbucks line so I looked for a vending machine and they had a few. No coffee though, just pop, water and a few other things like snacks. They also have a special trucker area just for them. Like most rest stops, commercial trucks and traffic park in a separate area. They also have a gas station on side for both cars and trucks. They have free wifi here, so if you need to sit for a few with your laptop and do stuff, you can. I assume it's in the dining area? Hey, where did my old Fuel Mart go?…read more This place is all modern and everything on the inside. They did a complete rebuild, from the ground up, and they did a fantastic job! Now they have a spacious convenience store, complete with the typical offerings for travelers, including roller grill, soda fountain, fresh coffee, as well as trucker type merchandise. Along with the rebuild comes new shower facilities, a nice trucker's lounge, well-maintained restroom facilities. I don't pay much attention to the gasoline prices, but there is always a steady stream of cars at the gas pumps, both travelers and locals. Plenty of pumps, both gas and diesel, to accommodate all who enter. The diesel prices are always lower than any other in the area - bar none. It used to be that cash was king, and I suppose it is still that way. Even debit cards and credit cards got you the credit price, so remember to bring cash when you buy diesel. Limited parking at the Fuel Mart, but additional parking is available out back. I love this place!!
