I went to this place because they advertise a 1-hour foot massage for $25. When I arrived, I asked for the $25 massage that was listed on the menu and posted on the door. The place is dark to compensate for how close and packed you are to the next person. If you want privacy there are side privacy curtains for a few bucks extra. Don't get me wrong, I have been coming here every once in awhile just to see if they have new male masseur and they do, their guys usually rotate every 6-8 months, some of them do stick around like Daniel. I decided to treat myself to a 90 min massage even though I initially just wanted a 60 minute foot massage. Well, let's just say this "massage" was anything but a treat. Being run over by a semi tractor trailer for 90 minutes, coupled with being punched by Mike Tyson at least 1500 times, would have been MORE ENJOYABLE than the "massage" I experienced. I cried for at least 45 minutes of the session and for the other 45 minutes, I was gritting my teeth as I tensed up my body to endure that harsh beating I was getting. I asked my guy to go softer FOUR TIMES and each time he said okay but then forget within 3 seconds and was back to MURDERING MY BODY as if he had a personal vendetta against me. I have never been MORE excited for a massage to be over. Especially after he tried to rip my ears and legs off. I even called my husband after and let him know that if I have bruises when I see him next, it's because of this massage experience and nothing else. So I chose this place for a massage. I called to make an appointment with a staff named Jerry. But, the shop owner told me: JERRY has not worked here for 2 years. I asked, what about the person named JACK or SAM? The shop owner said that they all returned to China 2 years ago. She told me to come over here, because there are many staff working very well here. So I agreed to make an appointment. When I arrived at the shop! The shop owner asked me who I wanted to meet and how much the massage package was? I chose the $40 package with a 60-minute massage, and I wanted someone young, skilled and dedicated to service. The shop owner was unfriendly and rude when I didn't choose the more expensive massage package. She called a male employee to meet me. He was wearing a T-shirt and shorts, looking a bit sloppy. I didn't agree. The shop owner called another man (dressed similarly, but a bit more neatly). I reluctantly agreed. Because I didn't want to refuse again. The owner of the shop said sarcastic, rude words behind my back, when I entered the private room for massage (the room was just a curtain covered by cloth, right next to where the owner talked to the staff (As if intentionally for me to hear): "He wants a young man to massage him for 40 dollars?" My first time here was about 8 years ago. For the price of $25, you got really good massage. It is now 2026 and they are still charging $25 which is almost impossible for a business to make a profit and yet they still charge $25. Before, the massage was the best bang for your buck and was actually really good. Now, the atmosphere is off, there is no sanitation, and worse of all, most of the workers that I've experienced the past 3 years were all just horrible. Every time I leave now, I leave worse than I came in. If the lady in the front is the owner, she needs to do something about her business and manage the place. The workers are probably under paid which is why so many people have felt the pressure of tipping because that's probably the only way the workers there can actually make money since the massage is so cheap. What she should do is charge more and find at least a handful of people that actually can give legitimate massages. I think she finds people just so she has a roster to fill the seats since it was busy before but now it, the quality of the massage and sanitation is superiorly gone down. The last few years that I've went and the "masseuses" that I've had, there is clearly no training provided or any type of experience. I give this business 1 star for the treatment of a new potential customer. Beware: The lady at the front desk will take advantage of you for your 1st visit. She needs to get educated on how new customers who call requesting a massage therapist by name, then schedule an appointment with that therapist it is because they read reviews.... While I'm not blaming or upset with the therapist/ employees who do what the person in charge says / gate keeper / manager/ lady at the front desk because I'm sure if they dont do what she says there are consequences. What options do they really have... When he starts, I feel him touch my shoulders then not even 5min into the massage he is already applying oil to my back....That's when I realized what was going on. I should of stopped it right there and demanded my money back. I was already settled and thought I'd give it a chance. The whole 60min or 50min sessions felt rushed, no flow, no technique....He was nervous and trying to race against the clock. It wasn't too personable this felt like a meat market.. if you use a debit card they will charge you a dollar but the only thing I didn't like about it was they took the money first and then told us we had to wait 20 minutes I would have appreciated if they would have told us first and we can make a decision if you want to stay around for 20 minutes. I've been coming here for years. So cheap, so efficient. Open 9am-9pm every day. These foot spa places are prolific in LA. But there's only a handful in Orange County. They have air conditioning. I have a disease called Dystonia which is a condition of chronic muscle spasms. It's a great place for a first date. Their technique is based on Chinese acupressure. They insist on you taking off your clothes even if you'd prefer to keep them on. Well, I'm not one to write bad reviews but called to make an appointment for two massages, appointment was for 1:30pm, I arrived at 1:33pm and proceeded to be ignored for almost 30 minutes by the entire staff. Finally the front desk lady came out and ask told her I was there for my 1:30 appointment and she asked what time I arrived, knowing she saw me sitting there for the past almost thirty minutes.
