Meloni and her team are the best, they made sure everything was set up perfectly, they were friendly and prompt and it really made a huge difference in the room. Everyone was commenting all night how great it looked. Meloni brought quality balloons and only one popped all night and thankfully it was after the party ended. They didn't even pop when we had sparklers on the cake underneath them. My wife hired a different team for our past events and the balloons were popping all night like gun shots, we'll never use anyone but Loverlee Events again. Perfect company to work with!

Words cannot express how thankful I am for finding Patty at Fairy Godmothers Inc! Patty is…read moreabsolutely wonderful and so incredibly talented. I didn't have much of a floral vision, so I needed all the help I could get. After meeting with Patty and discussing different ideas, she asked if we had a theme for our wedding. At the time, we also didn't have much of a theme, other than wanting to highlight the city of Chicago through the skyline. So, I showed Patty our wedding invitation and she immediately had an idea for our centerpieces. She showed me a large clear vase (and floating candle) with a cut-out of the skyline that wrapped around the vase and I immediately fell in love with the idea! She then added flowers and greenery around the vase to complete the look. It was the perfect look for our big day, and the centerpieces looked so amazing at our venue! On the day of the wedding, Patty arrived on time with the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. All the flowers looked so fresh and elegant. I could not have asked for a more perfect look! She also added a small charm to my bouquet in memory of my grandmother and it was beautiful. Patty even stopped by our church to ensure everything was perfect, even though this was not a part of our contract. She truly went above and beyond and I am forever thankful for talent and kindness. Patty also offers other services such as day of coordination, and other wedding details. Although I didn't need to use those services, I am sure she is as exceptional with those services as she is with the florals. Patty is a true gem. She is kind, knowledgeable, creative, and passionate about helping to make your wedding day truly the best day of your life. Thank you Patty!!!

I was having a smaller wedding and honestly, my goal was to spend as little money as possible on flowers because I didn't feel like they would make much of a difference in a wedding as small as mine. Patty set me straight and showed me how much these things can make a difference especially in a wedding like mine. I spent more than I had originally intended, but I will tell you that the end result was worth every penny. Patty had some great ideas and is extremely creative. I met with her to plan everything and gave her some basic ideas such as colors and themes and she turned that into the most beautiful wedding I could ever imagine. So many of our guests complimented us on the decor and flowers and we gave away the centerpieces because we hated to see them go to waste. Everything was just perfect the day of too. I had to worry about nothing and all of the other vendors commented on how great she was to work with. I would definitely recommend Patty and use her again. She was a pleasure to work with and she is not only florist, but really an event designer who will make yours shine. One note is that they do not take credit cards, but they were very flexible with payment scheduling.

The event ended up needing to be planned quickly, and let me tell you, it did not look like it! Despite my reaching out so last minute (indecisive bride), Eru was incredibly professional, accommodating, organized, and creative in her approach. It felt like she was really on my team as she took my requests and created a few different options and price points for me to choose from. And she asks great questions! She asked so many questions that I hadn't considered or budgeted for, and it helped clarify what exactly it was I was looking for and how to execute it. It really was better than I could have expected, time crunch or not. And most importantly, my best friend had the dreamy, untraditional bridal shower she's always hoped for I wish the wedding wasn't already planned so Eru could curate that day for us too! Still, at least the rest of us get the heads up now ;) Thank you again, Eru, for curating the day to meet (and exceed!) my girl's vision. ACE did a wonderful job with the lighting and drapes for our wedding, and we got so many…read morecompliments from our guests. I'm a video producer, and more than any other element of the decor, I believe that good lighting is key to creating a warm, inviting ambiance. So, after we decided on our venue, ACE was one of the first vendors we contacted. We'd never planned a wedding before, so we weren't exactly sure what we would need, nor how much it would cost, but Yoni and Ewa immediately put us at ease. Right away, Yoni met us to do a walkthrough of the venue, and they were able to execute exactly what we wanted, and also made some very helpful suggestions while staying right within our budget. It was all very affordable, and they provided excellent service from our initial call, to answering all of our many questions along the way, and very efficiently setting up and tearing down on the day of the event. For our ceremony backdrop, I asked them to hang a 10' wide macrame curtain, but it was so big, I had to keep it in a box for several months until I passed it off to the team at ACE a couple of weeks before the event. Luckily, Ewa did some research to make sure the macrame wouldn't get too wrinkled/tangled before they suspended it. When I finally got to see everything put together at the ceremony/reception, it was even more beautiful than I'd imagined. I'm still waiting on our photos from the photographer, but once I get them, I'll need to post them here to demonstrate what a lovely job they did.

I found ACE Chicago Events through a standard Google search, and when I reached out they were…read moreresponsive immediately. Both Ewa and Yoni took the time to meet me at my venue for a walk-through and estimate, and patiently answered all of my questions and talked through the whole event so they had a really good idea of what we envisioned. When we changed to a larger venue just three and a half weeks before the event, Ewa and Yoni didn't skip a beat; they met us at the new venue and did another walk-through, and revised the whole plan on the spot, which was considerably more involved than the first one. Both of them were excellent communicators, and shared helpful suggestions while also making us feel like we were always in control of our vision. This is a difficult line to walk, and the result ended up being amazing. Yoni arrived the day before the event and set up, which minimized day-of commotion. Yoni and his team were the epitome of professional: respectful, efficient, and highly skilled at what they did. They also all had cool-and-collected attitudes throughout the entire process, and the "I got this, no problem" energy behind the scenes was invaluable. It really helped set the tone of a well-executed event run by competent, organized people. When we had a projection project (designed by an artist of ours) not work out as planned at the top of our runway, Yoni improvised with a lighting effect and it ended up being way better than our original idea. The lighting throughout the entire venue was gorgeous and transformed a blank canvas into exactly the vibe we were going for: elegant, beautiful, interesting and welcoming. The A/V was also flawless. Having never produced an event of this caliber before, I was unaware of the A/V needs to make sure that people at the event can actually hear whoever is speaking on the microphone, for example. I've been to so many events where the person speaking is barely audible. Our speakers were crystal clear and Yoni did an excellent job interfacing with our DJ. He was also meticulous - and fast! - when it came to running, hiding and securing what seemed like miles of wires, so that we didn't even know they were there. From small details like the red carpet and stanchions to sound throughout the entire space, it was all handled smoothly and professionally. Ewa was communicative and excellent at sending over several updated proposals as the planning progressed, and they are simply an excellent team. I could not be happier with ACE Chicago Events, they elevated and polished our first event and executed our vision to perfection: what was just an idea at the beginning of January became an approximately 500-person event in the middle of May that definitely had the "WOW!!!" factor. Not only are Ewa and Yoni extremely good at what they do and worth every penny, they are great people. For the quality we received and the peace of mind knowing that people we trust were taking care of all the technical details, it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made to hire them as our production company. I would highly recommend ACE Chicago Events for any event you are organizing, and I have already booked them for our next one in the fall!

We hired the DJ Firm this year for our vow renewal and reception…read more We actually had the DJ Firm DJ for our small wedding last year, which shows how much we enjoyed them! We had DJ Sho (Jose) this year as our DJ - we also rented the photo booth and cold sparklers through the DJ Firm. DJ Sho did a fantastic job of keeping our guests on the dance floor and the party going! To no fault of Sho's, there was an audio hiccup but he was able to recover and pick the party back up. The cold sparklers were a hit - we added them on last minute ourselves -I highly recommend them to anyone even remotely considering them!! In terms of the process of selecting songs and lining things up, the site that the DJ Firm uses makes it really simple to do so. One thing to keep in mind when booking is that the style of most of these DJs is not to play full songs but to mix into and out of songs (fairly) quickly, so you will want to make sure that is your style before booking. It definitely kept our guests engaged and on the dance floor! The only thing I wish was that there was two photo booth attendants included as for a portion of our evening there was no attendant around, so guests were left to their own ways to ensure enough photos printed. However, DJ Firm helped ensure we were able to get copies of all of our photos! Tip: make sure to have something available for them to put the extra copy in ! We had missed that there wasn't something provided by default. I highly recommend the DJ Firm and their crew for all of your event needs!
