I struggle leaving this review. I did a lot of research prior to selecting. Through the…read moremedicare.gov nursing ratings they have a 4 star overall. This is what made me select them. With a troubling heart, I can say that my mom's care at first seemed great, they were always checking on her but by week two she took turn for worse ended up getting sepsis (severe uti). We were not able to be up there but we called to check up on her. My mother called and stated she was jerking so severely she couldn't do anything and no one would help her. We got a hold of nurse and told them what was going on. They said she required more oxygen and she was on antibiotics. We asked to be called if she got worse. NO ONE CALLED until 10pm and she was out of her mind We told them to get her to ER ASAP. They did. She almost died spent 2 about 2 weeks in critical care unit, then was released back to Ignite and it has been a struggle getting ahold of ANYONE. My mother called us again week 2 mark and has pneumonia plus another uti with ecoli. And again it is us the family having to point out something to the Staff if and when we can get ahold of them. Something is not right with this facility. I only give them 2 stars, THEY DO NOT DESERVE 4 STARS. I have since reported them to be looked into. If you have loved ones here please check on them, their life may depend on it.

The first 2-3 days they were pretty good, but that changed very quickly. As soon as he was cleared to go the bathroom himself they stopped responding to his call light. when he hit the button for meds (hip replacement) it would take anywhere from 30 mins to 1 hr for them to respond. We were told early on that we would have the call Kaleb the case manager and bug her to get any movement to discharge. My mom went and confronted her for eta of discharge and she talked in circles and then told my mom she would call her at the end of the day, shocker she didn't. my mom called 1st thing the next morning she didn't return her call. when we finally got a date she then didn't even complete all the paper work, the morning of the nurses had no idea he was leaving! one would think she would have gotten it together after I had to to go full "karen" on her to even get a meeting on the scheudle. I then went to the facility to demand answers after I Facetimed my dad and he was fighting back tears he was so frustrated and upset about being "stuck" in there. We had a heated argument in the lobby and which point she FINALLY agreed to have a meeting. They kept telling us he was approved through the 19th...we feel they were trying to keep him to keep the money coming in not because he actually needed to be there. They also have COVID running wild in the building. The nurses are not using proper PPE and practices when going in and out of those rooms. I worked in a hospital during 2020 and they are not following any of the droplet protocols. We had to basically beg and demand a shower for my dad on the days he was scheduled. they only get 2 showers a week, he was there for 2 weeks. We also had to beg for his sheets to be changed on his shower days. They actually left the dirty linen on the table by the bed the last week he was there (see picture below). My dad was basically ignored by the nurses other than the 2 hr he had of PT and OT he was left to lay in his bed. The response times were insane. The pictures included are of water damage around the bathroom door, the complete cut and broken window screen, and water damage on the ceiling tiles. We plan to also report to the insurance company the terrible conditions. If you have someone in here you are going to have to advocate very aggressively for them every day.

If you or your loved one need a place to get better, let me share this new local gem with you. It's…read morebrand new, state-of-the art, with cutting edge technology and beautiful rooms and common areas. My dad spent the summer in ICU, the hospital, and then skilled nursing. We were just hoping to get him to a great rehabilitation facility and get him better enough to come home. We reached out to Brooke at this facility and she worked hard to find him an available bed and get it approved by insurance and Medicare. I started calling her on Monday, and by Monday afternoon she had gotten it all set up, including the required medical transport. She made it so easy and smooth. That was the beginning of our contact with the staff there, and every other interaction has been similar. Smart, capable people who want to make a difference. Since my dad has arrived here (and he's only been here for two days) he is already like a different person. He is clear-headed, eating better thanks to the wonderful food here. He's had a series of increasingly uncomfortable beds all summer; the first text he sent me after his first night here was: "Bed fabulous, slept great, breakfast incredible." I felt like that was the start of a new beginning for my dad. As far as facilities go, it's increible. The huge PT gym is full of brand-new, high-end equipment. There is speech therapy and occupational therapy in addition to PT. My dad is busy from 9A-11:30A and then from 1P-5:30P, all in the name of getting better. Two different doctors came to visit yesterday evening, in addition to a litany of nurses, therapists, aides, and techs. I can't remember the last time he had this many people checking on him, following up, and taking care of him. Honestly, it was probably in ICU. This place has set the bar for me, and for all my loved ones. I will now not be able to accept anything less. Thank you to Brooke for getting us in, and thank you to the entire team helping my dad get better. We are ready to have him home!

He soon after apologized that the admissions director was unavailable but that he would show me around. I like initiative, much better than leaving me to grow stagnate in the waiting area and the tour presented a facility much better than the other facilities I had visited. I saw residents calmly watching television, smiling, and enjoying themselves. I saw the well appointed physical therapy area, dining room, resident rooms, and the outdoor garden. All gave me the impression that this would be a suitable place for my father to rehabilitate following his hospital day due to a stroke. Dad spent two weeks here at The Springs, the skilled nursing facility on the campus. They addressed all of his needs to include occupational and physical therapy to get him back to functional status. The facility was clean, the staff was supportive, responsive, and pleasant, and overall dad's stay was a success.
