    I selected one star ONLY because that's the only way I could even write a review. Lowe's doesn't…read moredeserve ANY Stars. I write a lot of reviews and 95% of them are GOOD reviews with GOOD interactions at places of Business that CARE about their Customers. It's just mind-boggling to me how incompetent that Lowe's has became. Especially, given the fact that hard earned money is being paid for goods and or services. The Saga with this particular location of Lowe's has been going on for about three weeks now. It has almost became comical, however, the frustration level is far above the comical level. My husband went to this location to pick out a new refrigerator; not because we wanted one but because our other one broke down. He was given a Delivery Date, paid for the purchase and left the store. A couple of days later, he went back to the store to get a few items. While he was there he inquired as to about what time the delivery would be. At that time he was told "Oh NO, you're not getting your delivery until a week from tomorrow, NOT tomorrow"! What happened next was NOT acceptable. My husband had every reason to think that the refrigerator he purchased, which had an ice-maker IN IT, on the show room floor, would arrive with an installed ice-maker. It didn't. Instead, he was give a box full of parts. Mind you, my Husband is VERY well equipped in ALL THINGS Mechanical and he knows how to put things together, he has the right tools, skills and knowledge. The ice maker in the box, that he was given, seemed to be like a box full of mis-matched parts that belonged to every other ice-maker out there, but didn't belong to the refrigerator that he had purchased. He FINALLY was able to put all the parts together, however, when he put the ice maker in the freezer part of the refrigerator, it fell apart in his hands and the connecting tube that went to the water hook up fell OUT of the ice-maker and fell INTO the freezer hole in the refrigerator. Needless to say he was very frustrated at that point. He called the store and he spoke to Brian. He told Brian what was going on. Brian told him that there was nothing he could do that day. That the only thing that my husband could do would be to go back to Lowe's, purchase another refrigerator and then WAIT again ANOTHER week, until that one could be delivered. So there we were, having paid for TWO refrigerators with no refund in sight until the first one was picked up by the Delivery people when the brought the other one. The "New" refrigerator was delivered and this time the ice-maker parts were able to be put together and installed. HOWEVER, after waiting 24 hours, there was NO ICE being made. My husband called Lowes again and there was supposed to be someone coming TODAY, Wednesday July 24, 2024. They arrived, and they were ready to take away the new refrigerator and give us something else. My husband asked them about this and told them that it was just supposed to be a repair visit to find out why the ice-maker wasn't working. The people that came didn't know English and my husband was given a phone number to call for someone to translate etc. I'm not upset about that. I realize there are Spanish Speaking people in the work force and those people were only doing what they had been sent to do. This entire situation has just been RIDICULOUS. During part of this when the FIRST refrigerator had been delivered and the ice-maker didn't even go to that refrigerator, I had called Brian at Lowes and tried to explain everything to him. He was NOT even one bit of an ounce apologetic in any way shape or form. All he said was that the Corporate office would call me within 48 hours. The corporate office never called me, so I called them. I explained in detail the situation with the first refrigerator. I was on the phone with the Customer Service person for an entire 50 minutes. When she finally came back to the phone she offered me a gift card to Lowes in the amount of $40.00. I told her that was INSULTING. Meanwhile, we have NO ICE in an ice-maker that we paid for that IS properly hooked up because my husband and his PLUMBING friend cleared out the water lines and had everything ready for the install of an ice-maker. I am just not able to understand how businesses like Lowe's have no regard for their Customers who are spending MONEY at their stores. I will NEVER do business with Lowe's EVER again.

    Lowe's location that is in Shepherdsville Kentucky tucked pretty far back off the expressway exit…read morefor the city. I've visited this location a few times while passing the time while my Daughters at cheer practice down the street. It is always really clean and the others seem more friendly then other nearby Louisville locations. Also not as crowded as those locations when I've come. So that's always nice. Overall I enjoy Lowe's locations. Now I'm not a big DIY project guy but when we do dabble in it we like the Lowe's locations. They do seem knowledgable and helpful.
