She's very in tune with your body and your emotional state and what you need. I haven't been to sun's new practice but I wanted to leave a review for her anyway. I had been going to sun for a long time when she was working at Costa Acupuncture. Let me tell you...she's just amazing. She listens to you and is a very warm person when you explain to her what your concerns are. She immediately knew what to focus on and she would ask questions to make sure we were on the same page. I only wish she were open on Saturdays because I can't see her during the week since I'm at work all day. If I ever have the opportunity to see her during the week, this will be my first booking. Absolutely incredible. We did cupping as well as acupuncture. I left feeling like a new woman.

I've been having problems with my sciatic nerve everyday at work...maybe from standing for long periods of time? Someone recommended acupuncture. Went to see Sun and had it done.... had a bit of the usual pain the next day but now I can say it's been a week and I haven't had it return. I felt so relaxed while there and ended up taking a solid 2 hour nap when I got home from it! Slept amazing that night too! An update: The regular acupuncture treatments have been great at helping with my anxiety and tight muscles. Sun is really generous with the needles meaning she's not a practitioner who will stick 3 needles in you and call it a day. She thoroughly treats you. Her plant-based supplements have been extremely helpful for my health and she even helped me find ones for my dogs through her supplement contacts - at no charge to me. Son is a really nurturing, caring, and exceptional healer. She is excellent in acupuncture for colds and overall health, and is extremely knowledgeable in nutritional advice and TCM food therapies. I've known Sun since she practiced at Costa Community Acupuncture in Culver City. Since they've consolidated to Brentwood, she's opened her own clinic in Playa.
