I got my tint about a week ago and Jim was very friendly and professional. He took time to explain the whole process, warrantee, and the product he uses. While he did not have a waiting room, he did offer to give me a ride to Tustin Market Place which was very nice of him, but I went to Cafe America which is in the same business complex. Jim is the BEST!! Just got our Jeep windows done and they look amazing. You can't beat his prices or customer service.

I drove all the way from long beach to his shop. And not knowing my windshield would not cover the warranty. But when i phoned "JIM" on Tuesday 9/12/17. I explained to him i had busted windshield. Fortunately my windows are covered by insurance. I told to "JIM" can u put a tint on my windshield again? He said come to my shop and i will do it. When i came today in his shop suddenly his telling me wasn't cover by warranty. And he start raising his voice to me. Saying i did your window tint and when return ur car. U told to Bill who works from tustin toyota that i damage ur car. Will Jim before u took my car there was no big scratch on my front rim driver side. I complained about that, and i have no idea Bill charge u on that damage. All i know it was covered with my car warranty thru tustin toyota. And Jim constantly yelling saying I'm done with u, u let me pay $500 for ur car damage which i didn't do it. Well one thing i had notice ur shop is too small and narrow. And u do ur work inside ur shop. My car is 4runner i bit bigger, and especially when u gets busy or in a hurry. U might hit something when u trying to drive the car all the way inside ur shop. And u said I'm not friend of Bill anymore for what he did to me. So disappointed with u Jim even u constantly yelling at me. Im still calm and trying not to argue bcoz i respect u and u r way more older. Trying to shake ur hands but u keep saying to me im done with u get out of here! Unbelievable work of art. Yes, tinting is a work of art. I got my car (nissan sentra) tinted by a someone cheap and mobile but it was horrible work. By the de-fogger the guy wasnt able to do a good job. However, Jim at sunbusters did an excellent job. You wouldnt be able to tell that there are is afilm on the glass. the film is cut to the precision. Jim is courteous and very accomodating and is open on Saturdays as well. I would highly recommend Jim. He has several different kinds of tint films that he put of my car for me to determine which one would look the best. Also, Jim gives you proper warranty paper work and the product and labor is fully warranted. read more

I bought a new car and the dealer wanted to charge me $495 to tint my Prius V. So I looked on Yelp. He charged me less than half (and even cheaper than the place where I got my Infiniti G35 done with less windows) and even offered to come pick up my car when I started asking about if he knew if taxis will drive me back home with a baby car seat (I'm a single mom - what a softy)! He could even take me that afternoon! I asked him if he was planning on stealing my new car (because if he was he was then going to tell me the truth, haha) and he told me if I found him on some website that gave him good reviews then he probably shouldn't :) So, all the other Yelpers were so correct... Jim is great!!!! He's been in business since 1985 and does mostly dealerships so he doesn't carry the cheap stuff but he doesn't charge you the arm and leg that they do. He's a one man show so you know there isn't a kid who just learned how to do this who's trying to rush things. His product has the lifetime warranty like most quality tint does and he's very honest with his work. Great product, great price, great guy. Jim is a really good guy and does top notch work. I took my 2017 civic hatchback in to get tinted after being told by a lot of places that they wouldn't tint my car because the factory spoiler was too much of a hassle or they charged a ridiculous amount to do it. I called this place and explained that to Jim and he said that he'd been doing this stuff for 25 years and that it wouldn't be a problem, he also gave me the lowest price by far given the style of car in mind.
