After mentioning the pasta was too dry, the waitress brought a small dish of tomato sauce --- not a feature of the original dish. I chalked it up to my barely passable French and the tomato sauce nicely solved the problem. I felt fortunate to find a non-tacky, non-brassiere eatery close to central Tournai which is a delightful town in itself.

I don't often go to the restaurant but that one is really very welcoming and a very great place to go to eat between friends. The budget is reasonable for young people who want to spend a good moment. The particularity of this restaurant is that it proposes a small card with some salads and other classic dishes. But on every Wednesday, they post on their page Facebook three dishes which they propose for week. Among the three dishes, there is something for every customer. There are pasta dishes, exotic dishes and revisited classics dishes. Whenever I see a picture of one of the dishes of the week, I have only one wish is to run to the restaurant to taste them ! The meals which are offered are excellent too. You can taste there exotic meats like ostrich or crocodile. The waiters can advice you about the best wine to choose in harmony with your meal. The service isn't cheap but everything is so great that you don't regret to spend a bit more than usual.
