I called to get an appointment for my husband, and they said "we accept all insurance". I assumed…read morethat meant we would have to pay our normal co-pay and no special fee was mentioned. I filled out his paperwork, but had to return to the car for my credit card. They had taken him to the back to watch a video, and let me join him. After the video was over the 'doctor' came in to 'run tests' to determine our level of neuropathy. Keep in mind, the appointment was not for me. The doctor said that he watched me going to the car and he felt I could benefit too. Long story short, at the end he came back with percentages of our nerve damage. He told my husband he had 86% nerve damage in one arm, and then told us the treatment. The treatment would be $7,180.00, and $7,180.00 for me. We told him we couldn't afford that. So then we left. When we went to pay our copay, they didn't even charge us for the co-pay. Instead, they charged us a $49 fee. Which is higher than our copay. Needless to say, we were floored! We drove from Tennessee in a gas-guzzling car. I wouldn't take my cat to this office. That's just plain ridiculous. If I could give negative stars, I would.
