I just received an order from Summmers.com. I totally agree with Julian B., who placed an order back in 2017, because here it is 2021 and things are no better.
I placed the order on June 22. I just received it today, July 10. I was totally, 100% disappointed. I never order anything from outside the United States unless I order from Canada. I did not realize it was coming from another country until after I placed my order. Anyway, the pictures are totally misleading, the sizes are not "true to size." I wear a 2x but I ordered a 4x because the clothes were so "cheap." Anyway, these items were no bigger than 1X! I tried on one thing and the shirt didn't even come together in the front. Also, they listed everything as linen. I have been sewing since I was 12 years old when my mother first started teaching me. I am 66 now. I have owned a formal dress shop, making wedding and formal attire. I do upholstery and I have made and make a lot of my own clothes. I know fabric like the back of my hand. None of this is linen. Their pictures have obviously been altered up to look like quality fabrics and merchandise because there is no way, they could make these horrible, cheap, poor quality garments, and poor workmanship look good in pictures. Well, I take that back, photoshopping pictures is THE ONLY WAY they can make this stuff look like anything. BUT AGAIN, I know fabrics! Two of the pant sets I ordered which were listed as linen were not linen. They were were in fact, made of a very light weight, thin, rayon, only suitable for making cheap sleepwear. It was not something to outside of your front door, let alone away from home. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT ORDER FROM SUMMMERS. PLEASE DON'T.
When I first went to Google and typed in Summmers to ask for a refund, I was taken straight to a page to request my refund, and I thought well, this is going to be easy so I won't have to go online and write a bad review. Anyway, I chose the option of post order or post shipment problem and everything was going along just fine but then I was asked for my order number. So I had to go out to my email to get my order number. When I tried to go back to the refund link, I could not find that link again. So I logged into my account and there was my order and order number and again, I chose the post order/shipment link as my problem, but instead of letting me enter my refund request, I got "Oops, you have no orders." Instead there is a menu that lists their refund policy which only tells you what their strict return and refund policy is, but does not give you the option to request a refund. Instead, there is a link to email them. I don't expect that I will ever get my money back. But, I have learned my Lesson. I knew not to order from "Wish" and some of the other sites like "Wish." Really, if it is too good to be true, then it is likely not true. I should have known better. Normally, we trust what we see, but I am here to tell you: Don't believe your lying eyes! Please People, beware!
