It does actually get quite busy in here sometimes as they have some very reasonable products. you can buy funny cups and mugs in here with crude slogans on them. They make great gifts for friends who have a good humour!! The staff are really nice in here. You can have a laugh with them about some of the stuff they sell! I often come in here just to see what new amusing stock they have got in!

I especially like popping my head in McD's in random countries to see what specialty "country-item" is on the menu-- curried lamb in Scotland? Saimin and rice in Hawaii? Sweeet! This location recently got a makeover and is shiny and buffed to spa-like tranquility. You can't really say anything about the food-- because, come on, it's McDonalds; the genius is that it tastes the same everywhere. The service is pretty much the same as anywhere in Britain that employs disinterested teens-- sullen and can't be bothered. But they get a 3 for the new parking docks where you wait for your food to be couriered to you after you've gone through the drive-thru (which to me defeats the entire purpose of "drive-through" but what do I know). Beats parking in the first spot you can find in the teeny, always crowded lot and watching while the poor bloke designated runner for the day tries to find you. You just know that the order taker purposely tells them the wrong make and model of car to have a laugh. Efficient, consistent and sparkly. Sounds like a good recipe to me.

Enzo's is owned by an Italian family who make the most delicious authentic Italian pizzas as well as a mean lasagna, garlic bread and all the usual accompaniments you'd expect to find on a pizza restaurant menu. The prices are a little on the high side compared to some other takeaways in Burnley but are still reasonable on the whole. Perhaps the biggest downfall for Enzo's is that they don't offer a delivery service which means it isn't the most convenient of take away restaurants unless you live relatively close. Also, the opening hours seem to vary and, although I pass the restaurant every day on my way home from work, it seems a mystery as to whether or not it will be open on any given day, which makes a long journey in search of the perfect pizza a risky business. But I still have to give Enzo's 4 stars as the fantastic food makes it worthwhile overcoming these other obstacles to get your hands on some of their tasty Italian fare.

The prices at Dixy are reasonable and they often have meal deal offers in place but the chips are poor and the chicken tends to be brown and blood stained which isn't to my liking. The coating is plain and lacks any spice or crispiness and overall it's a pretty dull eating experience. You can eat in on a plastic table, canteen style but this is something I've never chosen to do. Taking food out is usually a quick and painless ordering experience but it really is only appropriate for late night munchies when you're tipsy enough to not think too much about what you're ingesting. If you're sober, there are plenty more preferable and tasty options available around Burnley.
