I have lived in Bethel for over 20 years and have tried the root cellar on various occasions and have never had a good experience. This just reinforces why I should stop trying..... then again having an opening on a Saturday when booking on a Friday should have been my first clue..... I wish I could leave zero stars.

It wasn't the most relaxing massage but he worked very hard, and i felt so much better. I have continued the massages every few months, and still don't have pain. The spa is very clean and easy to book a treatment online. My partner loves getting his hair cut here too. The prices are reasonable and you can always find parking and get an appt within a week or so.

I showed her lots of pictures of hair and makeup ideas for everyone and she let me know how long it would take and pricing. She was so helpful and reassuring to this nervous bride. On the day of the wedding they arrived on time with everything they needed. They were open to lots of ideas and made helpful suggestions. Amber used airbrush makeup to make me look flawless and beautiful. Rachel took time to put in alllll of my hair extensions and give me the exact romantic style I was dreaming of. They made all of my bridesmaids,mom and mother in law look absolutely gorgeous. They were both so much fun and worked so well together. We loved having them there. I swear it was 20 minutes from the time I walked in until she threw me out the back door. I didn't get just a hair cut but also a waxing. I called for an appointment and asked if I could come right away since I was getting my oil changed at O'Connors. I needed a fresh cut and I was told Whitney would take me. COOL! So, Whitney starts cutting my hair (dry, which she told me is how she does it) and I thought Edward Scissorhands was doing my hair because hair was flying all over the place! So much so that I was spitting it out as I was trying to speak to her. I thought she would use the blow dryer and get the hair off of me but NO...NO, she sent me on my way with hair all over me. I asked when I got there if they have a waxing service and Whitney said yes that she would check when she finished my hair. (I don't know why she didn't check then.) By the time Whitney asked, the Esthetician had left for the day so Whitney decided to do it herself. The Esthetician had turned off the waxing pod so it was already cool but Whitney used it anyway. She said something about it being too cold but that didn't stop her. Needless to say, it was a terrible job. All she did was rip my skin. When I got home and looked at what she had done I was so mad. She never used anything to get the COLD WAX off my face, didn't use a tweezer to get any hair she missed, never even gave me a mirror to look at myself. My eyebrows and lip were exactly they way they looked when I walked in (until the next day when my skin started to peel). I'm pretty sure she wasn't supposed to be doing the Esthetician's job because she threw me out the back door. I payed $50.00 for a short hair cut, eyebrow and lip wax without knowing how I looked. I tipped her $7.00 and left out the back door. I walked back to O'Connors and thought about how my tip was too cheap so when I retrieved my car I went back to give her another couple of dollars. I went in and asked for her again and was told her was in the back getting her hair did!! Well, now I get it...she was in such a hurry because she was waiting to get her own hair done!! OH, SHOOT!! Why didn't you say something and I wouldn't have gone there. I spent $60.00 and got an "OK" hair cut and terrible waxing. I looked like an idiot by the time I got back to O'Connors!! I tip very well so it bothered me that I didn't give her 20%. Now, I really wish I would have seen the terrible job she did before I went back to give her more tip money.

The wait time is fairly accurate on the app. Staff is very friendly, inter decor is pretty minimal, but enough to recognize it as a salon when you walk in. They appear to have enough seats for 8-10 people, but they do not seem to have enough stylists to fill all seats, hence the wait list. My Step-son's hair was very well done, took a an acceptable time. Only thing I would ding them on is not enough seating for the volume they get, but I also chalk them up to being good they are busy enough to need more seating. I would use this place in the future for the convince of getting on the wait list while we are traveling to the Auburn area and not having to start the clock once you arrive.

To begin, I wanted a spiral perm. I had to go in twice because the first time they messed it up and the perm fell out that same day. Now I've had many perms throughout my life and none have fallen out that same day. So I call Hair Razor back and ask for my money back....$80 by the way. The owner tells me she'd make me another appointment to fix the problem and that she would be there to supervise the stylist this time to make sure it was done right. I had to wait about a month just to get finally seen again....and guess what....that same day a Friday, again the perm falls out. So I tried to be a good sport about it and waited till the following Monday to call and get my money back because this was now the second time they did not give me what I wanted. So I call that monday to speak to the owner to get my money back. I'm told she's not there and that she'd call me back. Fast forward to the following Thursday and I still haven't heard from the owner. I call Hair Razor back again and the owner "Courtney" answers the phone. I explain who I am and that I wanted my money refunded for poor service and faulty work. The owner refused to give my money back and then proceeds to tell me how she'd be out the $80 if she gave me my money back because of her time and products used on my hair... So let me get this straight. I paid $80 for spiral perm, they mess up on it the first time and it falls right out the same day. I call to get my money back, they offer to redo my hair at no charge...as if saying that was some service to me. I go in the second time and just like before it falls right out that same day again. Now they won't give me my money back because of services rendered...what services were rendered when I never got what I wanted in the end. That's like hiring a painter to paint your house blue but, then the painter paints the house red. Then when you ask for your money back, because clearly they didn't do the job right the first time, the painter tells you give me a second chance I'll do the job right the second time... Again, rather then having a blue house like you paid for again you end up with a red house. When you've had enough and finaly say you just want your money back the painter has the nerve to say they won't give you your money back because of the time they spent and paint they had to buy. I'll never recommend Hair Razor to anyone I know and I'll be sure to tell this nightmare to anyone I know considering going to this place for a perm.
