Long story, but I had a shameful mood-swing, my 1 and only during my wedding planning I promised myself I would never have. I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with this business. I purchased a package of 23 sessions but was only able to use 2-3 before the owner essentially disappeared and the business shut down. When I contacted her in November, I was told the infrared sauna was temporarily down and to call back. After that, I never heard from her again. For a long time, the business listed itself as "temporarily closed," and now it appears to be completely out of business with no communication or resolution. This is extremely unprofessional and, in my opinion, misleading. Selling packages and then failing to honor them or provide refunds is not acceptable. I, like others, am now left wondering what happened to the money we paid. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing packages or prepaying for services here. read more

No notice was given to customers in advance that they were closing. I'm incredibly disappointed in the owner, Michelle. I know she also teaches and owns the Cdm cycle next door, wondering if it's closing too. It would have been professional to tell customers of the potential closing so they could come in for their tans and products. This is a small community, and people remember. read more

Michelle the owner sold memberships and sessions and closed the business without refunding me the remainder of my sessions. She left a note on the door stating she'd be closed temporarily for about a week and it's been over a month and she won't answer her IG inquiries and her phone is disconnected. She's never been very professional but this is fraud.. especially since she would have known her business was in trouble but still sold memberships. I owned several salons in the early 2000's and you know when you can't maintain the business. She stole from a lot of people by selling memberships and just disappearing! read more

This is 100% fraud... They sold me packages. I think I have like six tans left ranging from $25-$45 each. And no refund was issued. Not even knowledge that Michelle was closing this business. What can we do. I called the Chamber of Commerce. The president also used to Tan there, but was unaware of this going on. I can't believe someone can get away with this. read more

Don't buy anything from here. The place is closed and keeps selling bundles and sessions for services you'll never be able to claim. I am echoing what a couple of other reviews are saying here. I wish I would have read these before I purchased. I bought 4 sessions and the place seems to have closed down. Sessions were sold after it had already closed down. This is fraud. read more

I love this place! I went in initially for a spray tan and heard about the body shape roller. I've never tried it before, but the front desk girl, Tierra did a great job at helping me understand the benefits walking me through how to use it. I've spent well over $600 at this tanning salon and every single time the older women with black hair has been there she has been out right rude to me. Every other girl that works there is so sweet and helpful but this woman was out to get me for no reason (it felt like consistently). I went in early this week to go in bed 1 and she told me it was booked so I asked to go in bed 3 instead and asked to just use my matrix 1 pass, she said yes but it was kind of a waste and i said it was fine. I go back to the bed and she only put me in for 9 minutes when I said 12. Then I came back out and no one was in room 1. I also brought up when I first got there scheduling a spray tan and this woman will just stare at you for a minimum of 30 seconds before she replies. She never replied to me about the spray tan so when I came out of the bed I brought it up again and asked to schedule it for the next day. Around 2:10 when I was already on my way for the spray tan that's at 2:30 and she called me canceling my appointment . Very disappointed in this women's workplace manners and will not be coming back to this tanning salon. read more

I recently moved to the area and needed a new place to go tanning, so I started calling around and ultimately went with Sugar Beach Tan because Michelle was so kind and helpful in answering all my questions. Since I haven't been able to go on a destination vacation due to Covid, I decided to treat myself to a tan and it was definitely a treat. Place was extremely clean and Covid conscious. They had a great December deal and it's a quick in and out. It's hardly EVER busy so I don't have to worry about prebooking a bed or anything! Now with the upgraded interior, constant changing of the bulbs, and lovable front desk babes I find myself tanning here AT LEAST three times a week. The stand up is an instant go to when I need the extra rays but my all time fav is the Matrix when I need to look my bronzest. I love tanning here. They constantly put in new bulbs in the UV beds, and the versaSpa machines are constantly cleaned and the spray calibrated so that my tan is always even and as dark as I want. They have a good assortment of lotions and sun products. read more

I love this place!! I got a level two spray tan in the versa spa, with bronzer. I walked out feeling great!! And my cousin got a level one spray tan with bronzer, she felt so happy and confident after. The service here is amazing, the gal was super sweet and made the whole process fun. This place was MUCH before new owner. Kate was amazing but no longer works there. The new receptionist is terrible. No personality and does not accommodate a single request in fact maybe a bit know it all and confrontational. Asked today if she could accommodate a ten min tan close to closing and she turned me away saying "that she's have to clean up and that she'd be there past 3:00 (by maybe 2 minutes???) and she couldn't do that". Not good customer service- very cold business etiquette!!! I just bought a new pkg of tans but will not sign up again. Btw- have been going there for over 10 years with previous owners! read more
