Important: Just writing this has my blood boiling, knowing that I was forced to go through this without any justice from the criminal "justice" system. It's important that I share my story so people are no longer blind to the corruption. I used to have such respect for the legal system, but after seeing how they would rather let an offender get away because they are too lazy to investigate a case, I now see that the system supports criminals, locks up the innocent, and will do anything to silence or dehumanize them. I met a man I really cared about, but it turned out he was an abusive, covert narcissist. Everything was fine for a year until he became an alcoholic. It started with him threatening me, and then he became physical whenever I stood up to him. He would shove me, pin me against the wall, and put his hands on my throat, saying he could "end me in a matter of seconds." He also threatened to have people come after my family and me. I was stuck in that relationship for another year because he blackmailed and threatened me into staying. He blamed me for his behavior, saying it was my fault he was threatening me, and told me to end my own life. He would say things like, "If you leave me, I will hire the Spanish people I work with to hunt you down," or "I'll just file false claims until you come back to me." I finally left him on a Sunday, but he showed up twice at the house where I was staying with a friend. He threatened their family and called the police, claiming my friend's family was drugging me. He demanded that the police force me to call him, but they refused. He even told the officers he "owned me" and insisted that I call him while continuing to threaten all of us over the phone. A few days later, I went to our apartment with a police officer and my friend's family to collect my belongings. To my shock, I was arrested because he told the police I had repeatedly beaten him in the face with a closed fist. Despite his lack of evidence or any visible injuries, I was taken into custody. I told the attorney, "For all the trouble I'm getting in for not hitting him, I should have, because at least the allegations wouldn't be a lie." The next day, he claimed I had threatened him with a rifle. That accusation was deemed false, but the officer refused to share that information with me. Later, he sent himself a threatening email from the laptop I couldn't retrieve from the apartment, fearing yet another false charge. Once again, I was arrested. When I tried to file for an order of protection or sue him for the false claims, the court refused, saying I was acting out of spite. I never found justice and was forced to move on while he faced no repercussions. Meanwhile, I had to return to court every month for a year, being treated like a criminal for crimes I never committed. The court told me he had moved back to Canada and there was nothing they could do. At the same time, they refused to review the evidence--150 calls, 100+ texts, and video footage of him showing up at my friend's house, preparing to fight their family in the street. Every attempt I made to present my case was shut down, while he got away with everything, despite having no evidence of his own. My attorney even told me they wouldn't arrest him for filing false claims because they "didn't have proof" they were fake. I told them to speak with the officer who had already determined one of the charges was false, but they refused. When I mentioned writing a review about my experience, I was silenced and told it wasn't a good idea. But this is my First Amendment right, as long as I don't name my abusive, covert narcissist ex or make threats. I never found the justice I deserved, and I hold the court system responsible for that. The system used to be about "innocent until proven guilty." Now, it's "guilty until you prove otherwise," and good luck getting that chance. I can't believe I ever respected the system or the police that follow blindly like sheep. Welcome to the new-age Salem Witch Trials, where a false accusation is enough to ruin your life. If someone lies about you, you can expect to be arrested without being given a chance to defend yourself. That's the cold, hard truth about our justice system. They would rather protect offenders than look deeper into a case, ignoring the innocent so they can lock people up like trophies. Just for a reference, I was with him since June of 2021 and I left June of 2023. It wasn't until around early 2024 that the court told me that because he wasn't answering the court back, that the charges would be dropped read more

These people do not give a crap about you. Us people are paychecks to them and that is all they care about. The criminal injustice system will attack victims for wanting justice and say that it is retribution. If you are a victim of a crime and you want the offender to be sentenced, the victim is seen as spiteful and is treated like trash. Where do they draw the line? If a victim wants justice, it's spite. If the court wants justice, it's just. Makes sense for a bunch of rich folks who only care about using the people as an easy paycheck. Everyone in that building is lazy and out for themselves. Never trust the criminal injustice system because they will feed off the innocent and let criminals walk free. In fact, I was told by the court not to write this after they screwed me over about 3 years ago. Trying to take away my 1st Amendment rights? Was kinda afraid to write this, but it is important people know that they are the deer and the system are the hunters read more
