Ladieswear, lingerie, menswear, clothes for teenagers and homeware, you'll find it all here. Their kids department in particular has some wonderful clothes at reasonable prices that make perfect presents. The Newport branch has also recently welcomed a bay trading concession into the store providing more trendy clothes for younger customers.

The selection of good for a store in such a small town is quite simply astonishing. The staff in particular are well trained, helpful and always ready to give you a smile. It's what keeps me returning to the store over and over. I also find it handy because it means I no longer have to go up to the nearest shopping centre (in my case Telford) for the things I need; I can just pop to Newport!

I find the Catalogue Surplus Centre a bit hit and miss. Obviously this is stock that has been left…read moreunsold from catalogues, so more often than not the clothes are no longer in fashion and the range of sizes is somewhat limited. I do however visit here mainly for buying a new pair of trainers, because the cost can be significantly less than buying a pair on the high street. Of course, like many discount shops it's worth the odd look around to see what they have in stock, but I am by no means a regular shopper here.
