The real reason for this review is the gas policy they don't tell you about.. I have a Discover card and use it for my gas purchases. I also have their app that lets me know when it was used and for how much. Normally when I pump gas it shows $1 authorized before the actual charge gets posted Well today it said $90!!!!! Whaaat? I called and they explained that yes normally it is a $1 authorization so they know it's a valid card. But this location does $90. Once my actual charge is posted the rest will come off. I have many problems with this. First they dont post it ANYWHERE and second THEY DONT POST IT ANYWHERE. I have seen notices at gas stations before noting a possible high authorization for debit card users that are charges by the banks and out if their control. This is absolutely their control because they requested this amount with the credit card companies. So let your customers be warned. If a person were close to their limit and then these jerks authorized $90 to a card when the poor shrub only thought he was being charged for his $10 gas purchase. Now he goes down the road and can't use his card for his hotel or more gas. Nice. My advice.....stay far away from this place.

If you are after the standard or basic snacks and drinks, they got you, but anything beyond isn't promised. Easily the cheapest prices is the area, which is why I usually swing through when the tank is getting a bit dry. While the gas prices are cheap, the condition and cleanliness, inside and out, are pretty rough. Constant overflowing trash cans, debris all around and on the pumps, while inside is in need of a good deep clean and refresh. Getting in and out of the place, and even maneuvering around the pumps can be stressful. The neighboring car wash makes the entry/exit a pain when their line gets backed up. And Doverside is a mini raceway, so be careful when exiting. Service is hit and miss here. Overall, this Murphy's is a bit unsavory for my liking, but the cheap gas prices lure me in on occasion.
