sequence of events at sumol:
me: un yakisoba camarao par viaje, translates 1 shrimp yakisoba to go (using my newly acquired portuguese food ordering skills)
restaurant owner: (talks to cook in the kitchen)
(10 minutes later, still no sign of yakisoba)
female employee: (picks up a plate of food ready for a customer, announces the food is ready, no one came to pick up the food, places plate inside the display cupboard).
(2 minutes later)
female employee: (takes out plate of food from cupboard and eats 2 pieces of french fries off the plate, passes plate back to kitchen)
(0.000000001 millisecond later)
me: (walks away from the restaurant)
please allow me to summarize why i left the restaurant 1) the yakisoba took forever, and i didn't even get one confirmation whether or not my yakisoba will ever show up from the kitchen window 2) unhygienic, i mean, employees eating food off of a plate that was or probably will end up for another customer?
