Absolutely terrible, would give 0/5 if possible. After waiting 1 month for my photos (acceptable in my opinion) I was surprised to discover that instead of receiving a set of three images i instead only got two of them with duplicates of one as the third set in addition to a poor quality frame with a scratched perspex front (bare in mind they proudly sell this frame for £60!) and a few other small parts of the order were incorrect. I tried contacting them on the 23rd of August to solve this issue and have not yet heard back despite multiple attempts. I would heavily recommend avoiding this company. read more

Well, having spent £70+ I expected a high level of professionalism from the company across the board, this however, was not the case. I arrived to have my graduation photo taken after the ceremony, and was greeted by a very unenthusiastic employee, whom seemed very reluctant to even tell the photographer that I have arrived. The photographer then rushed through the pictures, giving a few basic commands ("hold this, higher - move this way slightly, etc...") However, the whole time failing to point out that a little clump of hair was sticking out, and my gown was completely twisted and not covering my arms properly... I pointed this out when looking through the pictures, but was told that they wouldn't reshoot them, and that "they were fine", whilst giving the next graduand the same scroll and rushing them onto the 'set'. Safe to say, the pictures were far worse than they needed to be (I'm not the most photogenic, but these were awful). The picture then arived with codes all over the bottom, only covered by the frames - which the picture wasn't even in on arrival. There was an uneven white border on the picture itself too, and the frame also had a dodgy white border! I'm really struggling to see where the money went here, and would urge anyone considering to use the service against it. Fortunately, I have some knowledge of photoshop, and managed to edit it realistically. Anyone with a half decent camera could have done the job, and the frame would have only set you back a few quid. read more

Purchased the standard package for a graduand portrait. The photographer was rude and snappy, barking several instructions at me ("Stand there! Hold this! Look here! Tilt your head!") - clearly she didn't want to be there. I tried feigning a smile, but frankly her attitude made this rather difficult. I am not photogenic, so naturally my expression was pained and awkward - not something you want hanging up on your parents' wall for years to come! A photographer would work with the subject to produce a satisfying result; and indeed the other photographers present told jokes and offered tips to the subjects in order to coax out a laugh or a smile. My 'photographer' made no effort at all - she stood there, took three exposures in quick succession, and then barked a final order to go over to her assistant and pick the shot that I wanted, after which she roped in the next person. As you would expect, all three exposures were somewhat similar. The assistant helpfully offered her suggestion as to the least bad of the three. It seems the possibility of re-taking the photo was not an option. The photographer was interested only in churning through everyone as quickly as possible so that she could go home. Long story short, I was rather crestfallen from the lack of professionalism exhibited by the photographer, and it cast a bit of a shadow over the rest of the ceremony. Given the same lighting setup, anyone familiar with a camera could have achieved a similar, or better result. That is not what I paid for. read more

Thought they would be good as they were recommended by the uni, but 32 days after graduation, I still haven't received any correspondence about my order (which was more expensive than the graduation itself). Very disappointed. read more

I booked these guys ahead of time at the University of Ulster in Jordanstown for my Masters Graduation. I even paid extra to have a time slot to 'prevent waiting'. When I arrived it was complete chaos. There was a long queue of people and it wasn't clear where you go if you have a time booked in advance. We decided to go to the top of the queue but were kept waiting for about 30 mins as they were running back and forth to the computers with memory sticks. When we finally got to speak to the person at the till they told us we needed a memory stick - so after another 20 minutes we returned and explained that the computer system did not allow us to progress unless we choose a package - but we had already chosen a package and now the option was not there. So back to the till and kept waiting another 30 minutes - total nightmare. Complete lack of professionalism. The photographer himself was pleasant but the experience of disorder at the beginning was really upsetting for me and my parents on my 'big day'. Would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I have had a terrible experience trying to get my order posted out. I pre-ordered and paid for photos and added further photos to my order on my graduation day which were paid for by chip and pin. I received some of my order and an e-mail saying the rest would be posted when my outstanding balance was paid. However, there was no outstanding balance to be paid as the full amount had been debited from my account. I proceeded to respond to the email stating my order number and the fine detail of my order and how it had already been paid. Did not receive any response, so two weeks later I rang success photography and had to ring for about 15 minutes before anyone answered. When I got through, the woman said she would need the receipt however I did not have the receipt, she debated whether she was going to help me sort this out and at first said she couldn't do anything without a receipt, however, I became increasingly annoyed and she then said she could in fact find my order if I had the card number I paid with. So I provided her with that straight away and she said to leave it with her and she would search manually for my order (which is manageable as I provided her with my University, graduation date and time which narrowed it down). It got to about a week and a half later after ringing. Still no response and my account had not been updated, nor had my order been posted out. So I sent another e-mail stating my terrible experience and stress induced experience by this situation which was not my fault nor had it been handled with good customer service at all. Still have not had any response. I am fuming at this situation as there is no communication from the company whatsoever and the phone staff clearly did not bother to track down my paid order and update my account. I will be ringing tomorrow again and sincerely hope Success Photography improves their awful service. Will NEVER be using Success Photography again. Lauren Todd read more

Unfortunately cannot relate my experience to their glowing testimonials on their website. My daughters graduation presentation photo was "lost " for whatever reason. This was advised on a generic letter, not addressed to me that came with the other photos and said look for her yourself through near 400 stills! The attitude of the manager that I spoke to regarding the picture was basically read the small print and tough luck, all we will do is refund the money. While I appreciate it was a difficult picture to take, and mistakes can be made, etc, customer service can make a difference to how you feel and they are sadly lacking in this area. We had to use them as they were the "official photographers" and we were not allowed to take photos during the ceremony. Three years of hard work that we wanted captured gone and cannot be recovered but all I got from Success Photography was a feeling that they have a captive audience and why should they bother. However if l wanted a good photographer for important photographs that cannot be redone I would certainly go somewhere else. read more

These guys are a waste of time! I was really disappointed by the level of service provided by this company. They were rude and always rushing you to get away during your gradation photo. They charge an excessive amount for a photo and prints and offer an unpleasant service during the photo. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

The service provided was a shambles from beginning to end. It was totally disorganised on the day, no proper information and kids in charge who didn't seem to know what was going on. There were multiple queues for photographers with no priority given to those who had pre booked a time slot and we were sent from one queue to another upstairs that had even more people waiting because we were told it was shorter. We had to select photos straight after rather than being allowed to select online at home which felt like we were being rushed. We paid ( very expensive ) but were not given any sort of order no of what we had selected. We duly waited the " guaranteed 28 days " with no contact and no photos. After emailing we were told the order had been lost and we had to re select. An e mail followed asking us to confirm the order. It was wrong so we emailed back the same day. No reply was received and about a week later we received the wrong photos. We tried ringing but couldnt get through , so emailed again. No reply was received , so after another 10 days I tried ringing again, and after holding on for 40 minutes I finally spoke to somebody. She said they got a lot of emails and were hadn't got round to reading mine yet! She asked that I post the wrong photo back in order to receive the correct one! I also found out we had been over charged. I am currently still waiting to receive the correct photo and haven't received any kind of apology or offer of compensation. I asked what the complaints policy was and was told to email in!!! I would not waste your money on this company. I really don't understand how they could have won any awards.
