It's hidden in the back of the lot, can be easily missed. But this is a great Indian store with parking on site. Staff is friendly.

Unfriendly and unwelcoming. We won't be back. They will not receive any future business from my family.

What a great food store. A ton of fruits and vegetables, meats, fish and dry goods and condiments…read more Definitely a great ethnic food store. Prices are reasonable and I love that you can get a lot of things in bulk. When going for your first time be prepared to spend a while as this place is huge. Also, a little sidenote, it's located in a strip mall which has a lot of traffic. Once you enter into where the sign is, you have to walk to the back of the building and you'll find the store on the left.

This is a supermarket that carries a good variety international grocery products. Great selection…read moreof spices of all sorts, and many ethnic foods and ingredients that you wouldn't be able to find in regular markets. In addition to fresh produce and shelf goods, there are also seafood, meat, and deli departments, as well as baked goods. The Latin American section is the most extensive (catering to the local clientele), followed by Caribbean - I'd come here for specialty items for those cuisines. There is also a small Polish section (but no other Eastern European stuff). Some Indian. However the Asian section is dismally sad, and has only tepid mainstream brands like Roland, Geisha, and Kikkoman (OK Kikkoman soy sauce is the best tho!). Not even good sesame oil or noodles. But for authentic Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or SE Asian products, I would just go to one of several excellent dedicated Asian food markets in NJ. There are also few gourmet/epicurean global culinary products, but then again this isn't that kind of store, and is much more down home. The store feels a bit dingy and the aisles can be cramped, but I do like browsing and coming across interesting or less familiar items I can incorporate into my cooking, try new delicacies, or finding specific ingredients or spices called for in certain dishes I'm making. Prices are reasonable and not subject to the typical "imported/special ethnic foods" upcharge at a Wegmans or whatever for certain products that are very basic and cheap in its country of origin.

Dear Key Food Leadership,…read more In all my years as a grocery shopper never have I been a witness to an employee openly yelling at a customer for trying to ask a question. Earlier tonight I was 2nd in line to use the Moneygram service at your Spring Valley, NY location. I've never been more appalled that I'm actually writing this as my first complaint of any grocery store in my life. No employee was at the counter when I arrived. Customer in front of me stated to me he's been waiting for 15-20 minutes. I walked over to the grocery cash register and asked for assistance. Lady told me the person in charge of Moneygram will be back since she's on break. Did not mention how long and when she'll. I went back in line. Customer in front me went around to the side of the counter where a young man came out of what looks like an office. Customer asked him politely what time person is returning. With a loud and yelling voice he stated "she's on break for 1 hour." Customer calmly tried to ask follow up questions and the young man wouldn't let him finish asking and kept interjecting "I'm telling you she's on break for 1 hour." Customer replied and stated "I'm asking if it's an hour from now or since I've been waiting for 15-20 mins, 45 mins from now." Young man was shaking his head and kept saying, "no she'll be back in 1 hour." Customer then told him that we are the customer and to at least be shown some respectable customer experience and not yelled at. Young man walked away and put his AirPod ear buds on as he walked by us. Older bald headed gentleman came out of back office behind the counter and asked what happened. I spoke with him that his employee and coworker just yelled at us and that's not how us as customers should be treated when all we were asking was a question in a calm tone. I asked him to clarify if lady will be back in an hour from now or sooner since customer in front of me stated he has been waiting for 15-20 minutes. He said 1 hour from now. There was no signage stating closed or be right back. The older gentleman then placed a "closed'" hand written sign in the counter. He then told us that he'll speak to the young man and walked away from us. No de-escalation on his part at all other than him telling us that he'll talk to the young man. If this is how your employees represent your company then you've surely lost my business and those of as many people I can share this horrible experience with. I've lived in this area for well over 15 years and your grocery store isn't the only game in town. In fact there's 2 stores 30 feet away. New City is a 3 minute drive for stop and shop and shop rite.
