Came in for the meal of the day being the cold cut combo in which I'm allergic to bologna. This subway has been losing it's spark in the last couple month. I've worked at the CVS across the store for years and I've seen how it went from being a bad store to being one of the best subways in the area, to now being not the best again. I went in there today at 12pm for lunch and the tension was horrible. The new manager had an attitude and seemed to be taking it out on both the customers and the employee working with her, the girl looked like a minor and looked so tense. I work morning shifts and she is always there, and every time, she has the same attitude. I love the food here and it's a shame to have to stop coming here because of bad management. The employees were so friendly before, hopefully the owners could see this message and be able to fix their employees before they start losing more customers. read more

Worst customer service ever, they were extremely rude and the sandwich was so dry I could barely eat it.

Order footlong tuna with extra ingredient. We were charged yet it was just a regular tuna sandwich. Do better.

If I could give zero stars I would I got to this location at 8:30 PM and the sign on the building says closes at nine and the sign in the window said open with neon lights but apparently the Mexican lady with the big eyelashes and eyeliner eyebrows decided that it would be OK to close way before the time because she refused to even let me in the building and had locked the door and I wasn't the only one who was trying to go there because it wasn't closing time yet. I told her it's only 830 it's not nine yet. She looked at her watch and said well I'm already cleaning up so, that's terrible service and this is the only spot I like to go to. So my co-worker walked in the order and she seemed pretty annoyed with his large order. She told him that she just turned away a phone order referre to the customer as rude. In that case, "Hey kettle, I'm pot." I have experienced poor service from another lady at this store too. She seemed generally unhappy with her job and her coworkers. I had ordered ahead online to be able to pick it up in time for my lunch. I gave them over a half an hour to get it done. I arrived, and my sandwich was gone. After the staff basically argued with me and insisted I hadn't ordered anything, they finally found my order and said they had finished it, but gave it to someone named Esmeralda (because that is so close to my name). They remade the sandwich quickly, incorrectly, and all the while did not really offer any apologies or anything else to compensate the time I had to wait. Would a complimentary beverage, or a bag of chips really cost them that much? I didn't feel like they even cared they had screwed up. I will not be revisiting them again. Whom I can assume to be the manager, as he was dressed in casual business attire, was more concerned about putting cash in the til than providing any level of customer service to me. Simply saying "it happens" when they knowingly give a sandwich to the wrong customer, and offering little else but a shrug and a sorry doesn't make me want to darken the door of this chain store again. Probably the worst subway I've eaten in since I left the tweeker infested central California area. The ranch sauce on my chicken bacon ranch melt tastes off, like it was almost straight mayo. When brought to the staffs attention they just looked at me like I was stupid and got defensive about how they put ranch not mayo on my sandwhich. Gf's bread was stale. THIS time the employee was nice.. he had an easy going tone and even told me to have a good day :) But for the most part, ALL subway employees at this location and others seem to have one thing in common.. they HATE THEIR JOB. I stopped by here for a quick lunch. There's really not much to say about a Subway, because the Sub Sandwiches are average at best which for me would be a 3 Star rating. The reason why I give this Subway 4 Stars instead of 3 is because the the exceptional service the employees give to their customers...both in speed and friendliness to everyone that served at this location. After working 7 straight hours, I was hungry. I only get a half hour window when it comes to my lunch break from work and this Subway is the closest place around that has food that's a little on the healthy side. Our normal Subway (Palm and Dennery) is closed for renovations and this is the next closest one to our house. Original plan: grab a couple of sandwiches, chips, drinks, maybe cookies with my minions (kiddos) and have a mommy/little bits date night. Here's how THAT worked out... It seemed really busy for 730 at night on a Monday, there was a line to the door! (maybe because the other location down the road is closed???). Aaaaanywho... our experience kept being not so awesome from there. I'll usually give a Subway a 3-4 starts. Nothing spectacular, but pretty good. Unless someone spits in my sandwich, I'm happy. I am NOT happy. The guy making my sandwich was really friendly, seemed happy, cheerful enough, so that was kind of the one shining bit of happy here. That and they had a bathroom, so my 4 year old didn't pee his pants while waiting in this insane line. We ordered two sandwiches, a spicy Italian with no changes (and few toppings) for the boys to share and a Subway Club for me. (Note: this is one of the more expensive sandwiches the offer). Both were ordered as footlongs. I asked for a sub on the meat of my sandwich (I have this thing about their ham, I dunno, it kinda squeaks when I bite it and that freaks me out). I asked if they could sub it for salami or something. The sandwich artist said he was new, and didn't know, so he asked another gal on the line. Honestly, you'd have thought I suggested making the entire sandwich out of salami, on salami, with salami toppings, with pureed salami sauce. (insert her audible exasperated sigh here). She said that they would have to charge me 2$ extra on top of the sandwich cost. I asked why, seeing how I was taking something off, didn't want EXTRA meat or anything. And that salami was the cheapest sandwich on the menu. She said salami is the most expensive meat they have (what???) and that that's what they were going to do. I pointed out that ANY extra meat on the menu board was only $1. She said it was $2 extra, no exceptions, no reasoning, no nothing. Clearly, I just told the guy to make my sandwich without the ham, but not worry about the salami. Seriously, it's not worth it. I've never had this problem at other locations (anywhere, ever). The whole POINT of Subway is to get the sandwich the way you want it, right? Got my sandwiches made without incident after that. The guy continued being really friendly and apologized again for her behavior. Didn't end up getting extras (chips and drinks/cookies) like I usually do. And took our food to go, even though the original plan was to eat at the restaurant with the kiddos because I felt so uncomfortable. I think the worst part about it was her attitude. I grew up in the area and take some pride knowing that a big franchise like Subway can hire an awesome staff for this location in my neighborhood. I've been frequenting this location for a little more than a year and have to say. This location consistently gives great guest service. No other food place does it like they do in this neighborhood. Every single time I walk in they greet me and are enthusiastic to take my order. Even when they're slammed to the door with people. The service and food are always the way I expect it. This team rocks! Much kudos to them and what they do. BTW if you order a sub from here. Just remember it's not rocket science. Have your order ready because there's people behind you patiently waiting for a food order.
