I am still a fan of Subway after many years mainly because they don't make many changes over the years. The look is usually the same. The food is very reliable, and they still offer fresh ingredients that you can see as they make your sandwich. My favorite, which is not on the menu is the veggie patty. This review is very specific to Jan 20 at this Clay St. location I ordered one of the new ham and turkey protein wraps. I knew nothing about them other than seeing them in the pictures. I got in line and ordered it. The person that was helping me asked me which one I wanted, and also which specific veggies I wanted with it. Again, I want to emphasize that I knew nothing about these wraps. I asked for a little bit of olives on mine. What she responded with was "you don't get anything else with it" as she waved her index finger at me. Really? Is that how you inform a customer about what's part of the wrap and what's not? I am easily twice her age and here she is scolding me. Over stupid olives. These protein wraps are very small. The nutritional information shows half the carbs of a regular sandwich, however, it's like that because it's half the size. I'm really torn about this. This Subway franchise must be relatively new, compared to other Subways that I have been to. Place is clean and everything seems so well organized. Sandwich for my friend: 6" whole wheat roll, turkey, avocado, provolone, lettuce, red onion, mayo and honey mustard. I ordered a #7 Avo Mexi Cali, 6" whole wheat roll, rotisserie-styled chicken, sliced avocado, double pepper jack cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, red onion and spicy chipotle sauce. First time having a #7. It was quite delicious. I will have to order it again in the future. Customer service was very good. Employees were helpful and prepared the sandwich to my satisfaction. I like this location in the City Center Plaza, which is convenient and near my brother's home. Definitely I will return to try other Subway sandwiches. read more

I am making a review about the current customer service provided by this location. I had asked for the $4.99 Meal of the Day which is Tuna and to upgrade to a footlong. The lady at the Cashier charged me 11.01 for the MOTD with chips and soda and I had originally asked just the sandwich. I came back to the Restaurant because the cashier didn't provide me a receipt upon purchase and asked why I got charged for chips and drinks with my sandwhich and the lady at the register told me they can't honor my request. Talking about this is how they price it. I asked for there names on who was providing the service and haggled me saying I don't want to get fired. I just want the 3 workers to be properly trained by Subway's regional managers for there bad customer service. There names include Daibar, Loksang & Karmq. This happened on 11/21/25 on 12:32PM. I tried to doordash some food from here and apparently my dasher stole the order and instead of the subway notifying doordash and helping me with my order they sent multiple dashers away and refused to remake it. Walked in to retrieve my order and the employee name Patricia said she gave it to a man. Both employees Patricia and Rosalina refused to help me . They also refuse to remake the order, even though I told them that it wasn't me and it was a mistake in their part. This is a general subway, I needed to grab a quick dinner and subway has been mailing us coupons. We went in and ordered 2 foot longs and used a BOGO coupon. We had the steak & cheese and pastrami, they were decent for what they were. The husband and I both had stomachs problems within a few hours of eating the food, not sure if we an pinpoint it to this subway, but just beware. So, it's a Subway. The benchmark wasn't set very high going in, but it was ten minutes before 8pm closing time and I needed to grab dinner quickly. Ruby quickly prepares my sandwich to my liking and didn't skimp on the veggies. The veggies all looked fresh, which often isn't the case at this chain. Kudos to Subway for entering what has to be very expensive real estate, and making some tasty and somewhat healthy sandwiches available in City Center. The store is well lit and cleanliness is maintained. Not a whole lot of seating inside, but there is some so availability depends on time of day. The line (which does form at lunch time) runs well through the store and the staff do a pretty good job of assembly-lining the sandwiches to the customers pretty well. The location doesn't jump out to excel in any particular area but we're surely glad to have Subway here in the Center. read more

I have ordered a sandwich from this Subway several times and have experienced excellent customer service as well as excellent sandwiches and cookies. I usually order the foot long veggie delight and the Raspberry cheesecake cookies and they are really delicious and last me the whole day. Never will I ever step foot in this Subway again. Placed my order online to pickup at noon. I only have 30mins for lunch. Once I arrive the cashier says I have no order there, she looks at my phone and I did everything right. I ask, if I wait in the line (which was long af) would I have to pay again, she assured me I wouldn't. Waited 10 minutes in what felt like a sauna (sweating as I write this) and then after making my sandwich I realized I had forgotten my wallet but had my EBT card wedged in behind my phone so thought that would be ok since Subway accepts that... nope. "We aren't set up for that." There are reviews from a year ago here and they "haven't set that up" yet? Pretty sure it's because they want to discourage people with EBT due to the target audience of the little shopping center it is in. So stupid.
