I just wanted a quick dinner right before a concert so I stopped by this Subway! This Subway PACKED my sandwich and it was good! The cashier already had my order since I ordered online but it was a quick and easy grab and go! The ambiance is really quiet and there's a couple of tables that are in the restaurant! TIP: They don't have a restroom here so most likely go to somewhere else beforehand! They do have FREE ample parking but it's just in the back of Subway! read more

I was buying a sandwich at this Subway, it was $9, but the card reader said $11.61. Immediately I knew the math was off, because it should be $9.90 max. I asked him, "Wait, isn't it $9?" He replied, "It's with taxes and everything." I looked at this discount Post Malone... And then I looked at the screen again. No back button, no option to pick a tip, he pre-picked it for me. The only way to not pay it is to walk out or make a big deal out of it, meaning explicitly ask him to remove the tip, which most people don't do out of social decorum. In the end, I just paid, because I didn't want to hold up the line. This is deeply upsetting and extremely unprofessional. When I go out, I'm looking to have a good time, not to be finessed of my money without my consent. All of a sudden, I have a 30% mandatory surcharge on my meal for no reason. I won't be back at Subway, certainly not this branch... It left a very sour taste in my mouth. I've also left a complaint on the Subway corporate website. I'm ordinarily a very reasonable person, but this type of stuff really crosses the line. read more

As soon as I arrived to the location the 2 workers kept telling me to wait but they kept gossiping. They kept taking the sweet time while I waited in line and kept telling me to wait. If you work at customer service you drop everything you doing and help out the customer. These location needs a good manager. One of the managers is so ignorant and rude. He has the superiority complex and claims he owns the business. He hates when customers uses coupons and is very stingy with the vegetables if compared with other subways around. So I just made my online order around 7:40pm and it said it will take 15-20 mins for it to be ready to pick up and when I got there the girl assumed I spoke Spanish when I was speaking to her in English and they MESSED up on my SUB THEY DIDNT TOAST MY BREAD ,nor put the correct Cheese I wanted and there was no Jalapeños when on my order I place clearly shows I wanted that and she didn't put my sauces I wanted ( light ranch , regular Mayo and by the time I was picking up my order it was showing on the app that they were still making my SUB when I was sitting there and when I got to my car I opened it and it was all SOGGY !!!! Just want to say my wife and myself went to this Subway location today and I have to say it's the best location we have visited. the server Amber reminded us of what good customer service is the food was fresh the sandwich was delicious and we didn't have to ask over and over to please add more of this or more of that like you have to do at other locations ,I'm sure you know what you I'm talking about. Example if you go to Subway you ask 4 extra olives and you might get two or three and so on and so on. anyways this location deserves a good Yelp review enjoy if you're in the area. read more

The sign on the door says open from 7:00 am- 11:00 pm, I went at 9:00 am and they were closed for some reason. I knocked on the door and the employee ignored me, I knocked again and he acknowledged me but gave the " Were closed sign with no explanation whatsoever" terrible service and very unprofessional. Local Chef here and food critic, I also happen to live in the area for a while and worked for the mayors office and food network. I know what is to have a great manager but this Latino gentleman with a dark complexion a just doesn't cut in having a rude loud tone when talking your order. I understand its not the best job in the industry. keep it friendly and for some other reason they always run out of a soup a bread or proteins Lol came in here with my brother who has cerebral palsy and had a very nice lady cleaning up tables. I would say they can be a little sloppy in getting orders out or having approachable staff Hope they can get it together cuz my brother enjoys subway read more

This is by far my favorite Subway. It's a nice building and they have a big parking lot out back. I have noticed that at this particular one the employees are willing to give you extra when you ask for extra. Making me happy that I come out with a sandwich loaded with veggies. They are also pretty nice and helpful. One star knock off for the one blond employee who couldn't greet me or even crack a smile. It looked like she was a wax statue who couldn't show any expression. Other then that the others are really cool! I just hope it was a bad day for her (as we all have once in a while) and she can smile in the future:) read more

So yesterday I was on my way to a Griffith Park Shakespeare's play ( Titus Andronicus ) it's a beautiful outdoors picnic event. I decided to make it easy and picked up a Tomato Basil, Turkey, Bacon, and Avocado wrap. The wrap was delicious and extremely convenient to eat out there. I've been coming to this Subway for years and I genuinely think it's quite a good one. Consistently good customer service, open 24 hours, clean venue, plenty of free parking in the back, well lite parking lot at night, a variety of sandwiches, fresh veges, and workers who aren't stingy with ingredients or coupons. This isn't an omg-foodie place but definitely a keeper among fast foods. My favorite subs are the tuna, turkey bacon avocado, and apple wood pulled pork...ALL toasted with feta cheese...noms! Only downside is that there are no public restrooms. read more

This is a great subway location, my Hood! I recommend this place highly cause the workers always bust their asses and make really good sandwiches. Not sure why the work ethic of subway workers is so good but i find this to be the case on a general basis. My favorite Sandwich Meatball marinara toasted with american cheese, also toast it with the onions and green peppers. Top it off with parmesan cheese, why not? read more

This has always been my go to place when u get hungry after school. The price is reasonable with a large sandwich. The workers are mutual. I wouldn't say that they are rude nor friendly. I also remember once a man paid for my food and if he ever has the chance to read this I would like to thank him. I'm actually thinking about heading there after school today. read more

My husband and I ordered their dinner special. We ordered 3 sandwiches for $14.00. I went to pay and was charged $17.00 for 3 sandwiches. I told the cashier that their window showed that the sandwiches were 3 for $14.00. She told me that they charge extra for toasting our sandwiches. We DID NOT have any of our sandwiches toasted. The cashier said that whether we toast or not, we will still be charged extra for toasting. This is so unfair. read more

This is my least favorite location. Most of the workers I've encountered (especially the night shift) look unhappy and treat you the same way.. like you're bothering them. They rarely say anything especially 'Thanks'. I was just there 5 mins ago and I asked for 2 slices of tomato for my sandwich. There was a whole tub of pretty red and juicy tomato slices. As she reach for my two she picked the only ones that were not ripe and completely white and dry. I don't know if she did it on purpose but it was easy to see how dry and white looking the tomato slices were. And if she didn't notice thats just as bad cause it showed me how little she cared or paid attention to details. I wish I had said something right at the moment, cause I would of liked to see her reaction or hear what she had to say about it. I did walk over to the trash can and pick out the albino tomatoes and throw them in. Unless I'm dying o starvation, I will not spend anymore money at this Subway. I do not recommend this location at all. read more

Established in 1965.

The story of Subway started over 50 years ago when Dr. Peter Buck, a nuclear physicist, changed the life of a student with a few simple words, "Let's open a submarine sandwich shop." It was Peter Buck that gave college freshman Fred DeLuca the idea to open a submarine sandwich shop to help pay his tuition. Peter provided an initial investment of $1K, and a business relationship was forged that changed the landscape of the fast food industry. The partners opened their first restaurant in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where they served fresh, affordable, made to order sandwiches. I will say the bread at this deli was a notch above Jersey Mike's which is definitely a plus as good bread can make or break a sandwich. Mozzarella sticks were great, although they were normal sticks nothing out of the ordinary but I've definitely had worse sticks (looking at you Prince St Pizza...) so I'd recommend them if fried cheese is your jam! Service counter young lady was nice, she was quick and helpful with her suggestions. Small store, kind of looks like a convenience store and then the deli counter is on the right of the entrance and cashier is in the back. Easy ordering process. Parking is in the back, limited spaces. No inside seating available from what I saw, just counter to order and that's it. Grab and go type of spot for sure. Place was OK - if I lived closer, I would think it's an ok spot to come more often but I would not go out of my way to come.

My friend ordered the albóndigas special she saw on social media over the weekend - so it's not always available. I got the Egyptian nachos which was beautifully played with a jalapeño cilantro hummus, chips decoratively fanned out and nice pops of color from the pickled red onions and sliced cucumbers. I am sooo full and didn't even finish my food. Gonna put the extra meat in a tortilla at home! I would recommend and will try to make it out again soon.

This alone was enough to share between 2 people and be super full. But it is pricey at $39-40 or so for the 4 items. That said it's a locally owned shop and def has a ton of fans as it was busy when I visited and everything is house made! I will be visiting again :)

I placed an online order on November 26, 2025, for the 9-Piece Classic Signature Chicken Family Meal using the "pick your own chicken" promotion. The app clearly allowed me to select all white meat, and the order was confirmed and paid for in advance with no warning or restrictions. However, when I arrived at the Marengo Street store to pick up my order, the staff--and specifically the manager--refused to honor what I had purchased. I was told they "only fulfill this promotion with dark meat," even though the app allowed me to order white meat and did not disclose any such limitation. I showed the manager the promotion, the order confirmation, and the screenshots, but he offered no solution and simply repeated that the store "does not do that." This felt like a bait-and-switch situation. The online system sold me something that the store had no intention of providing. Since the store was selected before placing the order, Popeyes knew exactly which location would be fulfilling my purchase and still allowed me to place an order they refused to honor. This was not handled professionally, and there was no attempt to correct the issue or make it right. Because of this misleading promotion and the dismissive behavior of the staff, I will not be returning to this Popeyes location--and honestly, this experience has made me question Popeyes as a whole. Customers should receive what they pay for, and online promotions should be honored exactly as advertised.
