We got to take a tour of the Food Bank the other day, and it's beautiful and well-organized, with a lot more amenities than you'd expect. There's a beautiful clean warehouse and freezers, with high volume rolling pallet racks, as well as a separate area for personally donated items. They have a large training kitchen that's used for food preparation and safety classes. There's outdoor space for education and events, as well as some grow areas for fruits and vegetables. Everything is well-organized and well-labeled. The staff is super friendly. I'm not sure this place needs a review - it's not the sort of place you'd come to shop - but it's a great organization and it deserves your support!

They also told me that interchange for donating him to the rescue that I would get a tax write off. They never had his back evaluated and never sent me the tax write off. Everything they said they would do they have failed to come through on. They stopped responding to email and text and are now using my horse to make money on people riding him. I've been attempt to get the tax write off for a year! Very sad that these rescues do this kinda thing.
