Best selection of beautiful home furnishings, women's clothing and accessories in SW Florida!…read moreExcellent, well-organized customer service for both buyers and sellers. No appointment required for taking things in to consign here. The owner, Debbie Fuller, and her staff are very knowledgeable. Ms Fuller is very hands on, especially regarding consigning larger pieces like sofas, coffee tables etc. She will review those kinds of items via email and respond to prospective consigners quickly. Items are priced fairly and there's a color code explaining daily discounts visible at the entrance. Items are often heavily discounted, I imagine to allow sales to move quickly. Lightweight shopping carts are available and designed to maneuver around the vast space which is very thoughtfully laid out and maintained. Brands range from no-name to high-end designer. Regarding clothing, if you want to consign here: be mindful of the season, inspect your things (this isn't GoodWill) and be sure that they're on hangers that you're willing to part with. Don't haggle when consigning, these ladies know what they're doing and they move fast. Talk of the Town Consignment is truly a destination in and of itself. To truly shop around the store, make time and rest up. One day years ago ... I stayed too long, was exhausted so took a load off on a recliner towards the back of the store. I fell fast asleep. Thank goodness one of Ms Fuller's staff found me. It was closing time on a Saturday

BEAUTIFUL, HIGH-END mid-century antiques -- furniture & home decor! Written on Retro Home's online…read morepage is this: "Offering a wide variety of locally-sourced Mid Century Modern, Danish Modern Teak Furnishings along with vintage and retro accessories." Under this roof, you'll find many of the BIG BRANDS from the time period. That separates this antique store from most, and for that reason prices are higher than what you'll find elsewhere. But the brands that this sole proprietor offers are considered priceless by many experienced mid-century antique lovers who can spot quality pieces. She also backs up each mid-century piece w/ knowledge of it & the time period. Do NOT come here seeking bargains; they did not exist on my visit. But if you want authentic, EXCELLENT QUALITY furniture & decor from the 50's thru 70's, you'll be happy you stopped in. This mid-century shoppe opened in February 2021. Owner Joy had spent nine years in the local antique business, and she has lived in this area since 1978. (A long-term, local antique mall owner highly recommended we stop in here.) Joy buys and sells LOCALLY, often using her days off to visit individual homes & estates to select the merchandise she'll soon sell in her shoppe. SHE DOES NOT SHIP. However, she and her son will make local deliveries; that should be discussed @ time of purchase. Please excuse a previous Yelp review where the owner was referred to as a "snob" (w/ NO specifics provided). He awarded two stars for ridiculously unfair reasons-- for not being open when she was busy moving into this location (& had posted her hours online) & because "Scan Design" (that doesn't sell antiques!) can beat her prices. I found Joy to be friendly, professional, & knowledgeable. The shoppe hours are posted for all to see on Yelp, Google, Facebook, etc. They are Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:30 AM to 4 PM. Do not hesitate to stop in to see her showroom. It's simply BEAUTIFUL. I can back that claim w/ photos! The furniture & staging were so incredible that I couldn't stop taking pics:) If you still don't believe me, check out Retro Home's Facebook page. The GORGEOUS pieces almost jump off the page!

This is a true antique mall with lots of vendors under one roof and each offering something completely different from the next. Hubs and I don't usually go antiquing while on vacation, but we couldn't resist stopping in during our 4-night trip to Sanibel Island. Since we were each traveling light with only our carry-ons, we had to be selective about size and what we bought. Next time, we'll definitely plan ahead with something larger! We found a gorgeous tall decorative silver candle holder that fit perfectly in my carry-on, along with an adorable black pearl pouch purse for an awesome price for me. Honestly, the selections throughout the mall are super cool and the prices are freaking outstanding. A special shoutout goes to the owner(?), Peddy, who was super warm, welcoming and friendly. The hospitality was all here and that made our shopping even more enjoyable. If you're in the Fort Myers area and enjoy antiquing, Eyeing T.P. is absolutely worth a visit.
