This restaurant is good if you want a variety of generic, local options. I've been here a lot of…read moretimes for both lunch and dinner, on weekends and weekdays. Their chicken tenders are notable. Their hamburgers are large. The schnitzel is just ok and I don't think I'll get it here again. I think I'll order the salad next time. In the summer it's nice because you can sit outside along the "water" with a beer. One time we got a carafe of wine and that was a good way to share wine between two people. Even if you didn't plan ahead on a Saturday night with a reservation, you can probably get in here.

They have seasonal options, which has selections I've mostly enjoyed. During white asparagus season, I ordered it with the salmon. The salmon wasn't that great, but the asparagus was decent. Most recently, I got the German flatbread and it was a highlight. They have the normal beers on tap (Störtebeker) but they also have bottled beer from around Europe and the world. The menu doesn't really reflect what they have, but you can go over to the refrigerator and see what bottles are in there, or they will make suggestions based on what you ordered. The restaurant is a large room, which doubles as the morning breakfast room, with different sections depending on your mood. You can sit at a long table, a high table or a smaller table. You can sit near the indoor smoking area or by the shop full of cute home trinkets. I like coming here for dinner when I feel like mixing it up and trying something new.
