Absolutely my favorite place in Lublin! The quality is amazing. My favorites are the steak, burgers, and appetizers...that's basically the whole menu...but it is a great place to come after a long day or to catch up with friends. Also, the drinks!! That's one of the best designed places in Lublin - bare bricks, which me like it very much, make you feel comfortable and warm in the winter. The food - their specialty burgers used to be really great, but nowadays (2016/2017) is just average, many times I felt 'heavy' after it, not really an aficionado of polish beer either in general so 'Tyskie z tanka' is nothing special to be honest. When I come to Lublin, going to a place like this is not usually something I would do. But my colleagues from France wanted to go because they like the burgers here. Hey.. why not. The place is very casual and it is like a mini, micro brewery in that they have one "small" tank for the beer that they make. They have other beer options, but you can get their beer in a 1 liter glass. I didn't have the beer but most of my colleagues did. I had the traditional lemonade (they have several). It was fantastic. Not the sugar/syrup lemonade but made with fresh lemons, mint, etc depending on which one you get. I was throwing back those. I had the fillet, salad, and fries. The filet was cooked to my tasting, had a nice smoke flavor, My colleagues killed their burgers... dead. It took a bit long to get our food, with the place moderately busy. Delicious burgers. I had the "Lublin" with a fried egg, red onion marmalade, bacon, and cheese. The appetizer sampler was a meal in itself for 2; it even has traditional blood sausage (try it before you judge). Excellent service and ambiance. read more
