From the minute I walked into this hip salon I felt incredibly comfortable and pampered. They go above and beyond the normal hair salon visits that I am accustomed to in Dyersburg. The ring cleaning, hand massage, hand paraffin dip and head massage were excellent; all done while my head was in the sink. In a dimly lit quiet room. I am a huge fan of massages. My stylist Katy did a fantastic color on my hair and she really took her time and good care of me. I can't say enough about this salon from heaven in Dyersburg. I had major surgery in January and had been bedridden for close to 6 months. My hair thinned dramatically & knotted and matted. I was beside myself. And to be honest, embarrassed to even go to a salon. I took a deep breath and took the plunge. I thought what a waste of time when they'll just probably have to shave it anyway. Once I entered Styles on Broadway all my apprehension slipped away. The staff was so friendly and my stylist was able to get all the rats nests out and save the hair I had left. She made me feel wonderful. They go above and beyond. Complimentary fruit tea, a scalp massage, hand massage and paraffin type treatment with warm weighed gloves and a warm towel neck wrap... they even cleaned my rings! All not expected with a cut, wash & color! There were certain things because of my medications I couldn't have done like I would have liked, like layering my hair, and a lighter color. My hair was just too thin & my hair isn't healthy enough to go lighter yet. She was magnificent but not a magician, and I know this. I was amazed what she did do. I have just recently been feeling better since my liver transplant, and something as wonderful as this was just what I needed. Highly recommended. Hopefully on my next visit I'll have more and healthier hair for her to work with. You deserve this luxurious experience. I left out a few surprises for newbies too! read more

Massage Theropy - Millie is professional and so helpful each time I visit. She is an excellent therapist and has often helped after some workouts were too hard on my muscles. She is helpful to new clients making them feel comfortable. I have recently visited for a couples massage and she is worth waiting for both of us. read more

I highly suggest going somewhere less expensive to get your nails done. I spent $85 for a mani pedi. The girls who did my manicure and pedicure were very nice and did a good job. My notes are that the lady doing my pedicure kept getting up and leaving me. It took an hour and a half on my pedicure which is ridiculous. After my pedicure I was told in 5 min I would be moved to get my manicure (it was actually 30 min). I got the same service I have gotten at other places where I only paid $45. I don't believe they should be charging $85 to basically get my nails painted. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because Alex who did my manicure was very nice and because their hair salon may be better than their nail salon read more

I come here for all of my salon needs. They are an Aveda salon which is hard to find in rural West Tennessee. As someone coming here from a big city this is wonderful news. While their costs of comparable to those of salons in major cities they are a bit steep for those that live in the area. They also have salon services like massages, facials, manis and pedis. They always offer you a beverage while waiting. They carry Aveda, Bumble and Buble and their own brand of makeup, BoS. Their staff is top notch. The Great: This places has got it all. Great, experienced, professionals that get the job done right while creating the full salon experience for your enjoyment. The hair washing is AWESOME. They put your feet up in this room with low lighting, wrap your neck in a warm towel, and even give you a scalp, head, neck, and hand massage. It is unreal and soooo relaxing. At first I was thinking, "What the heck is going on here? I didn't request a massage!" But they make you feel very relaxed. It is the full salon experience. They always listen to you fully concerning what you want done. They have nail specialists that do regular nail stuff, mani-pedi, the gel nails, [not sure about acrylic] and they all look fantastic. I know people who will only let a certain person do their hair, but I have tried several and I love them all. The Not-so-great: The prices are high. You might pay $40 after tip to get your nails done. You may pay $35-40 after tip for a simple hair wash, cut, and simple style. I don't want to know how much a color, highlighting, or hair extensions can run. I can only imagine it is astronomical. The Conclusion: While these prices are incredibly reasonable for a city salon, they can be a little high when considering local, rural hair salon pricing. For someone like me who occasionally gets a haircut or styling (Every 4-6 months) it is worth it to pay extra for the full salon experience. I have not had a bad haircut or styling experience there. I always feel like a million when I walk out. Remember, you get what you pay for, and let me tell you: for me, it's worth every last penny. read more
