I read about Rachelle helping one of our neighbors with an appointment a coupe of months ago and I reached out to her on Wednesday for help with something early Friday morning, fully expecting her to say that she was booked, but she graciously took the job and even offered very valuable advice on how to manage it. She arrived promptly and was so warm and friendly, it was like being with a friend. We chatted on the drive about how her business started and the passion she has for her work and her "kids". Rachelle goes above and beyond in her customer service and she does it joyfully! In a world where you barely get a "thank you" from a business, Rachelle listens and provides extras that you never knew you needed, for example, when she came to pick me up, she brought the drinks and snacks that I had talked about earlier. I felt truly cared for and, in a stressful situation, that makes all the difference! What's funny is we were just at Goodwill so I saw a glass jar that was similar to one I found at Goodwill, it was $8 at Goodwill and $34 there. However, that was the only piece I found at Goodwill, whereas here there were so many beautiful pieces. You really can't compare the two, so I'll stop here, but I just wanted to make that clear. I've been into helping the environment recently, so I want to buy secondhand pieces when I can. We were looking for a vase. I ended up finding a gorgeous shell shaped vase. They actually had two, but one had a crack on one side, which is why it was discounted by $50. I decided to go for the non cracked one, which was $140. I think this is reasonable for the quality and it's a statement piece. I saw tons of other items that I loved. There was a standing desk for around $350 and a lot of benches and tables all in the couple of hundred dollar range. Again, not cheap, but definitely less expensive than they probably were when they were new. The guy working there was really nice and helpful. Parking was easy on both sides of the building. They pack this place full of such beautiful finds. I will definitely be back.

Instead of going to target, I much rather support a locally owned and operated store. Also I know the families already have everything they need so I wanted to choose from a place that curated things so I was more likely to find a beautiful gift. I was pleasantly surprised by how big this store is. It is bright and modern with beautiful clothing and a tasteful array of toys. The person working who I think is one of the owners was helpful directing us to their baby section. Also they have adult dresses which I'm guessing matches some of the little girl clothes. I have two boys so I was fawning over the adorable dresses. They also have super cute boy clothes, but my kids are older now. They have a bunch of cute clothes for Gasparilla and Valentine's Day. They definitely have their finger on the pulse of upcoming special events. We easily found cute gifts for both birthdays. They have things at all price points so you won't walk out empty handed. They are in a strip mall so it's a huge parking lot. No concerns finding parking like it can be in other south Tampa areas. I will be back for all my baby/toddler gifts.
