Went to Studleys today to look for a memorial tree for a friend who recently lost her son. I was SO impressed with their outside selection. I had NO idea how far out back of the building their displays actually went. Was looking for unique houseplant. They had but expensive. Disappointed in the plants. I believe just cuttings and one cutting per 4" pot. Two of the five plants will not make it. Hoping for the last 3. If doing online ordering , you may want to think twice. read more

I ordered a herb garden container which she loved and more recently got her 2 blueberry trees/bushes(?) that were already blooming! They have some of THE BEST prices on indoor plants. If you can't afford large full size pots you can purchase smaller starter pots. There prices on their annuals are great as well. At least a third of my plants are from Studleys. Great selection and the staff are very friendly. Don't know the guys name that works there but he's very helpful and patient answering questions. Studley's has helped us with many landscape projects and years maintenance. We always have been very happy. I have a poinsettia from them from last year. It is now bringing beautiful spring color. I've never had such luck keeping poinsettias alive. read more

I spent over $125 on a centerpiece for my anniversary. Specifically ordered pale peach tulips. They are daffodil yellow! Too late to change it. Very, very disappointed. They clash with my outfit and yellow has nothing to do with my wedding day. They could've at least called if they couldn't fulfill the specific order placed. 10/10 do not recommend. read more

Today I called Molly to make an arrangement for my mom who had heart surgery. I wanted something different, special, rustic, bright, cheerful, wildflowers, barn type (A lot to be asking) She went above and beyond my expectations. I asked for a picture to be emailed just to see the arrangement before it was sent. It meant a lot to me. I spoke to her at 11am and an hour later I have an email of the arrangements. On the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving my Uncle called to tell us that my Aunt, his wife, had passed away. We live in another state about 12 hours away. We changed out plans for Thanksgiving. We left home on Wednesday morning, had Thanksgiving with my brother. The wake was on Friday and funeral on Saturday. While at the wake we noticed we forgot to order flowers. I called Studley Florist at 8 am on Saturday morning and without missing a beat the young man said there would be no problem to get flowers to the funeral home prior to the 2 pm funeral. I told him what I wanted to spend for a funeral arrangement and the type of flowers I wanted. Studley delivered the flowers on time and they were beautiful!! I will use Studley Florist again should the need arise. read more

I was trying to plan ahead and order flowers for my daughter for valentines day. So I went on to FTD online and placed an order. Shes still in school so they had to be delivered before 2. I even called to confirmed they said no problem. Well valentines day comes around so I log on to check to see if they were delivered only to find out the order was cancelled. No one even could let me know. If I hadnt checked I would have never known. In a last minute effort I contacted Studleys flowers. They saved the day. My 10 year old little girl got her flowers at school thanks to Studleys. I will recommend them to anyone and the pricing is great also. I will never use FTD flowers again. I use Studley's as a supplier of all of my personal plants around my house and also for my business as well. I have never been disappointed with anything I have gotten there. Coming from the West Coast I was so happy to find this company and find that their selection rivals some of the great nursery's I frequented in Oregon, California and Washington. I have been buying from them since I moved here and have never had a single perennial I have planted from them die, I feel they do something special with winterizing them because they seem to take off faster and thrive more than any I have purchased anywhere else. I recently have been having them make "Dish Arrangements" for gifts for my company and for birthdays etc and I am shocked at how beautiful they are every time I pick them up. I like the dish gardens cause they last longer than flowers and they have an amazing greenhouse of really odd and cool plants that they grow to fill them. If you want unique, if you want rare, if you want high quality, do what I do and go to Studleys. They really are that good. read more

I often order flowers that I will never see, so I don't know how beautiful they are or how close to the actual picture they were. I got to see first hand, sadly enough for my Dad's funeral, how beautiful the Studley's arrangements are. I ordered 2 different ones, and they were even more beautiful than the picture. Just got my mom flowers for her birthday again but this time didn't go so smoothly. I got a call to say the flowers that I ordered were unavailable and that they could make an arrangement of the same color scheme (pinks/purples). I picked that one specifically because of the flowers, not really the colors so that was a bummer. So I called back and asked for a different arrangement altogether. This one was a yellow/green arrangement in a cute basket. Because my mom probably has a dozen or more vases, I thought this would be a nice change. I was told they should have those flowers (rather than a confident "yes, we have this arrangement") but just found out that my mom received a similar arrangement, in a glass vase. I understand that New England winter doesn't lend itself to a wide flower selection; however, I had hoped that ordering a week and a half in advance and choosing two of their pre-designed arrangements would be a success. The flowers are still beautiful and they were delivered as promised. Prices seem reasonable though their order fee has gone up. All around, nice flowers but not the ones I picked. read more
