The…read morestudio was well equipped from a technology and accessories perspective (especially for families), and we used the proximity to the bike trail for outside shots. Linda was great to work with, and the results were very quick and of excellent quality.

I first met Linda from Linda Wilson Photography at an event where she was set up as a vendor. Her…read morephotography immediately caught my eye since I had been looking for someone to take pictures of my daughter. Her photos have a cool vintage/romantic feel to them that I really loved. At that event I entered a drawing for a free portrait session, figuring I would probably take my daughter to Linda either way. And surprise! I was one of the lucky winners. So, that saved me the cost of the session fee. Linda was pretty busy for scheduling since it was close to Easter and spring break, but I was able to get an appointment after school on a weekday within a couple weeks. When I arrived at Linda's studio I didn't see it at first. The address is EE Williamson Rd, but you'll need to make a right onto Shariff Ct. The building on the left when you turn onto Shariff looks like a mechanic, but Linda's studio is actually at the very front of this building, facing EE Williamson. There is some parking along the front fence. The studio is much larger than I expected, especially since it's just one photographer. There is a front waiting room, a room in the center where you view your photos and the studio in the back. There is a restroom where you can change if you need to. For the photo session I brought a few changes of clothes like Linda suggested. She has a large selection of backdrops and props to use as well. The walls are covered in props for baby photos, antique chairs, tubs, baskets, all kinds of things. These are mainly used for baby photos. Linda also had a good selection of clothing, unique things that matched the style of her photos. She suggested a really cute fur-lined coat for my daughter to wear. It was adorable and ended up being one of my favorite pictures. Our photo session went a bit over an hour. Linda took a ton of photos in a variety of poses and outfits. She is really creative and had lots of ideas. She really customized the session to fit my daughter's personality. Linda gave us the option of staying to view the photos the same day or returning for a viewing appointment later. I decided to go back later since I knew my daughter would want me to buy everything. In the meantime Linda posted one of the photos to Facebook, which was really nice. When I went back for the viewing Linda had prepared a slideshow with her favorite photos. We then went through the photos in groups to narrow it down to the ones I wanted to purchase. There were so many beautiful pictures it was really hard to decide. We spent almost an hour reviewing the pictures. In the end I think we settled on 6. I bought a package that gave me digital images and one print each of 4 poses. Linda said she would touch up those pictures some before sending them to print, which was really nice. While waiting for my prints Linda e-mailed and asked if I would like another photo posted to Facebook. I thought that was really nice of her. Fantastic, creative, and fun photos unlike anything you would get from a chain portrait studio. Linda really takes her time with you and takes great pictures. I'd highly recommend her. I'm sure I'll be taking the rest of my family for photos with her in the future.

We had family vacation photos taken at a Florida beach in July. Our photographer, Tina, was a…read morelovely person and very polite and easygoing, if not professional. She suggested the venue and it was beautiful, but I hired a photographer because I don't always know what looks right and I wanted someone to take care of that. The session was short and she rarely suggested poses, placement of individuals, or specific locations on the beach, and left all of that to us, always asking what we wanted to do and what picture we wanted. The pictures are clear and look good, but there are a few things that are off. She only sometimes gave us notice to smile. She did not ensure that everyone was looking at the camera. She rarely suggested rearranging people. In one shot, the sand in front of us was full of footprints and beach fodder, and in others, there are spaces in the pictures that look odd, and parts of people's faces are blocked. Just a few minor things that take away from the beauty and balance of the photos. I have no idea how many pictures were taken, but she failed to include one that I specifically requested. While I like some of the results, I was far from impressed with many. Finally, we were told that we would receive the pictures, along with a separate code to download them, in a few days. I did say to take her time, as I would not be viewing them until I returned home, but I had to request them when we did, and then the code to download them. What we initially received included a link to order prints, etc. from the photographer but no code to download. I would recommend the photographer for candid shots at weddings and events, but be prepared to check the pictures for the things mentioned before the end of the session.

As far as I'm concerned, Jenny is our family photographer moving forward. The search for our…read moreengagement/wedding photographer was challenging for my husband and I, because we were looking for a photographer that offered a unique and artistic perspective. Jenny totally nailed it. Working with her was such a pleasure, she's very down to earth and she knows how to capture the personalities of her subjects in such an effortless manner. We started our engagement session at a local bar to help with nerves. From there we took a stroll through the neighborhood to find interesting places for pictures. Jenny's eye for detail is superb and her technical skills are great. She was also very knowledgeable and flexible. Jenny answered all of our questions thoroughly, and she was very organized. When the wedding day arrived, we had no concerns that she would do a great job. After our bridal party and family photos, we went on another adventure to take more pictures in our neighborhood and we had so much fun! We've since received our sneak peak, and I was blown away. If you want to discover your inner model, do yourself a favor and book Jenny. You won't regret it!

I brought this to her attention and with some prodding she was not able to honor the advertised price, but agreed to include two free prints, which was cool. Throughout my conversations and inquiries she answered all of my questions and stated I was very thorough. Why yes I am :) 30 minutes prior to my event I called Rania stating my party was running late due to plane delays etc(everyone was coming from out of town) and wanted to know if we could schedule the shoot 45 minutes later. She agreed. 45 minutes later no Rania and instead of calling she sent a text stating in a nutshell she wasn't going to make it because her nanny was unable to stay longer. I rated this business a 2 because I deserved a phone call in the event of cancellation just like I gave her a phone call in the event of my tardiness. After texting and emailing about full reimbursement I was finally fully reimbursed but saw in the notes the following ( money refunded because client was late, not a good fit). I think that's interesting. Was I not a good fit when I submitted my payment in full prior to the shoot? Probably not. I was very disappointed that my photo shoot was cancelled and the way in which it was cancelled and handled. All in all though I received a full refund, so I'm not angry, but honestly the professional shoot was more important to me in the end than the money and as previously stated I did not receive that.
