This place saved my life! After a bad bronchitis and several years of smoking, my breathing was bad, so my doctor suggested I tried some soft yoga to re-educate my breathing. I found this place so close to home and liked it immediately. After a couple of months of soft practice of hatha yoga here and after trying other places in many parts of the city I decided to move on with my yoga at Studio Shanti and started taking Virginia's Anusara-inspired lessons. Besides the improvement of my breathing, flexibilty, strenght and even humor, I found a friendly, relaxing atmosphere and an excellent and super patient instructor.
There are other foreigners coming to yoga at this place and both Virginia and Rosa speak English so there are no excuses not to give it a try! They also have a Pilates studio with qualified instructors but I'm sticking to yoga. read more
