I met Tenee', Cyndi, and Teresa about six months ago. From the beginning it felt like I was…read moreimportant, they all cared and I was not just another pay check to them. The depth of caring and concern they have for people is real and genuine. Due to my illnesses, which I have two the doctors say are non-curable, I have always had the experience of walking into a place and either being told "sorry we cannot help you", or "sure, we can help you", only to have them only take my money and then turn the cold shoulder. It was such a relief to be able to walk into the Spa and have not only people who cared, but understood and truly wanted to do something to help. Tenee' and Teresa both are wonderful massage therapists, they are able to work on me without causing pain to my body which is in constant pain. When they are finished working on my body, the pain levels are greatly reduced and I am able to walk around with minimal effort. It is such a relief and a blessing to know both of them. Cyndi is a God send as well; with her knowledge of herbs and genuine loving nature, she has managed to work with me and create lotions, bath salts and other items for which bring much needed relief at home. Not to mention the wonderful aroma's associated with her "Daisy Chain" products. My overall impression of Nirvana Organic Spa is that they are people who genuinely care, truly want to help all around them, and enjoy their work. Something that is so rare to find in our day and age. They are my friends, not just people who have knowledge. And the prices are wonderful!!!! Thank you, all of you, for devoting your time and energies to all who come to you or meet you. Rev. Alimae

Nanette did an excellent job asking about areas to address for each of our massages. Nanette was thorough with using a variety of techniques to work out extremely tight areas. We included the facial massage and hot towels which felt great. Her space is serene and very clean, plus she has a sitting area where we sipped on tea while we waited for each other. Nanette was responsive to my inquiry, shared suggestions for restaurants and gave directions. Best of all, Nanette has a great sense of humor, excellent clinical skills and a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend Illuminations for a massage.

We booked Cody & Allyson for a bachelorette party in Bellaire, MI. They traveled to us and set up…read moreshop to accommodate 6 girls, one hour each. I personally had Allyson and was her first guest. The table was comfortable and sturdy, there was spa/ relaxing music playing, and they had brought hot stones for each massage. Allyson started by asking what areas to focus on or avoid, any tension, was the goal for more relaxation or relief - all the questions you want to be asked before a massage! Off the bat Allyson was easy to talk to and very personable. I usually enjoy the silence during massages, however, it was nice to chat and we had a great conversation. I learned a lot about cupping, lymphatic massage and drainage, etc. The massage itself was wonderful! Pressure was great (which she asked to ensure it was the correct amount for me), the areas she worked on were all needed and much enjoyed. I think my favorite has to be the head and face - after a night of drinking it felt divine! The hour was up way to fast, as it always is. I thoroughly enjoyed my massage and Allyson was phenomenal. I heard the same comments from all the other girls and those that had Cody expressed the same compliments. I would highly recommend LTM to anyone in the Petoskey or surrounding areas.
