I had some situations including my venue selling and cancelling us 6 months in, my wedding dress came out nothing like I expected 1 month out and I really didn't like it and then my stylist left. I was starting to freak out a bit, no lie. Kathy, the owner took so much stress off working with me diligently answering all of my questions, taking into account each of my requests and even gave me a complimentary bridal hair and makeup trial a month before my wedding since my initial stylist left. She helped give suggestions as well for our last minute rehearsal dinner. (I wasn't planning on doing one but my now MIL insisted.) The day of, the girls and I went in, they had some tables ready for us with snacks as well as we brought some of our own and stuff for mimosas. She planned out all of our hair and makeup perfectly. Oh! And I had added a last minute bridesmaid who changed her mind and wanted to get her hair and makeup done. Kathy made it happen! I specifically said that I understood that since my hair is so long it will be very thin at the ends etc. she cut 4 or so inches off my hair it was almost waist length and now it just barely reaches breast length. the layers are choppy and uneven completely disconnected. it seemed like she realized she messed up because she kept saying how cool it was that it was choppy and "crazy". she also said to one of the other stylists that "it's better to cut a lot of the length with layered styles because it gets ratty at the ends." even thought I specifically said to not touch the length. She curled before I left which I think was to try to hide some of the unevenness but was having a hard time doing so and curl some parts and left others uncurled. I was disappointed when I left but figured it can't be too bad, mostly just sad about the length until I started realizing how choppy it was. Super disappointed! I was excited to get a shag since I had finally grown my hair to the length I wanted and now I'm back to square -1. I have been attempting to grow it out and maintain the health of my hair since middle school (I'm currently 5 years out of high school).

I made my hair/makeup appt for 9am. Giving me time to go back to my hotel and change. My hotel was around 7 minutes away. She took 1hour as she said, so it was well timed. I brought 2 pictures of what I was looking for. I'll have to wait till I get my wedding pictures back 2-3 weeks, then I can really say how it looked. From what I can see it was great and I recommend Christina to you for your wedding. I wanted a natural look and I got it. As it turned out it was a really windy day. If you are having an outdoor wedding, I highly suggest you consider the wind. Maybe an updo, or something with lots of hairspray and Bobby pins. My nails grow fast but because of the great job she does, the nails don't lift at the bed like most of the other places I've gone to, hers stay put and I just go back and get them filled and shortened. The salon is small and I do recommend making an appointment. She does her best to cater to your schedule as well as occasionally working outside of business hours! She brought all of the supplies needed to work with my hair type. My hair ended up even more beautiful then the trial run and even more beautiful then I could have imagined. The up-do and curls lasted ALL day and night without any issues. It was such a relief! She finished my hair around noon and I didn't take it out till about midnight that night and it still looked perfect.
