I was not in a very body-positive mindset the evening before and even walking into the studio the day of, but that quickly changed as I talked with Julia and her team. My nerves calmed when Laura started on my makeup, and Kendall handed me a glass of champagne. Leading up to the photoshoot, I received several emails with information regarding their downtown warehouse loft location right across from Minute Made Park and parking. They also included how to best prepare for the shoot--from what to wear, skincare suggestions, and where to buy high-quality lingerie if I didn't already have some. The email sent the day before let me know the timeline and everything that would take place that day. Their excellent communication certainly helped me relax before the big day! Laura did a beautiful job on my makeup. I typically wear very natural and light makeup, and it was fun to see the drama she added, so my makeup would stand out for the shoot! I still looked like myself, which was important to me. While Laura did my makeup, Kendall went through the several outfits I had packed and my jewelry to pick out the shoot styles. She and Julia decided to put me in a few pieces from Julia's lingerie line, and they were absolutely stunning! It was wonderful to hand over the final decision making to their team of professionals and relax. Once my hair and makeup were done, I got to see the outfits that had been styled for me, and we started the shoot. Julia demonstrated and talked me through exactly what poses I'd be doing for each shot. She kept saying "gorgeous" or "perfect" with every shot, and it definitely boosted my confidence. By the end of the shoot, we had several stunning photos to choose from, and we sat together to whittle down the choices. This was the most challenging part of the experience, and I was stunned to see myself on the screen. Was that really me? The lighting was stunning. The curves and angles were so feminine and breathtaking. She and her team had managed to bring out the goddess in me, and I couldn't have felt more confident leaving the studio. I will be recommending ShineOn Boudoir to all of my friends. Men and women alike! They also shoot couples, which could be such a fun gift for a birthday or holiday. I'm certainly hoping my upcoming birthday involves a gift certificate so I can snag more of the photos I had to weed out from this shoot! Highly recommend!

He asked about my music taste and catered to them, the hair and makeup experience was fantastic ( we went for a soft Hollywood glam look and holy smokes did I feel beautiful!). Once I was ready to go, he talked me through different posing techniques and was super encouraging during the whole shoot. I by no means consider myself the "sexy type"- after I looked at a couple of my shots I seriously had to do double takes before it registered it was me!!! The person who took my international passport picture was polite and knowledgeable. He knew right away what photo dimensions were needed. There is no other platform to write reviews for wedding vendors hence using Yelp to warn future clients. My photos were not edited and shared on time. And I mean both my engagement photoshoot and my wedding photos and videos. What they delivered does not hold up to our contract. They lied and lied and lied and all they want is money and they could care less what your wedding day images and videos once your full payment is made. Danny Ali (the owner) is a complete liar. He kept pushing our dates one after the other each time instead of meeting our contracted dates. Also expect barely any responses from this vendor once he receives his full check. We were promised we would receive our save the date pics and video at least 30 days before wedding however he sent it 4 days before the wedding day not giving sufficient time to print save the date banners or print welcome day frames. We were promised per our contract that we would receive highlight video and photos within 30 days after wedding. 3 months went by to get highlight photos and Danny wouldn't respond to calls or texts. Danny stopped picking up any of our phone calls nor did he respond to our emails. We received lies stating he got in an accident first and then another lie couple of months later stating his phone wasn't working etc (see screenshots of other clients confirming they received the same excuses at different timeframes). Per the contract, we were also promised documentary delivery on the 6th month. We didn't get responses for another few months and there were barely any edits done to the documentary. Once we received it, it looked like he did a half assed job last min and sent it over. There were several instances where he would fool us saying videos were loaded into google drive while on our end we saw a black page. He stalled for several months until one day another couple reached out to me via Instagram asking if I received any of our files from Danny. The other couple stated that it's been a year since their wedding and Prismatic failed to deliver their files. When I stated to the other couple that Prismatic has been facing techinal issues for loading documents, the other couple stated they were being fooled and lied to for 1 year with the same excuses stating "he met with an accident" or "phone stopped working" or "google drive isn't working". The crazy part is Danny even created a fake google number to make it look like he lost his phone while appearing online on WhatsApp on his regular number. Meantime, he was messaging his other clients through his regular phone(see screenshots from other clients confirming). 3 different clients of his I spoke to experienced the same lies, issues and unethical behaviors form him. See screenshots. Finally when he finally send everything almost a year later, we discovered he didn't send a finalized file and missed a lot of key parts! It was so saddening to see this for a vendor you paid premium price for. Plus on top of this he wanted to charge us over time money! Please beware before you sign up for this vendor. Wedding planning is very stressful time so please be warned before you sign up for Prismatic who will drive you insane. See these above screenshots of all his promises and lies.
