Ashley, the owner, met us at the door and was energetic and passionate about the shop. It hasn't been open long. Ashley has also just written a book, The Girl Who Dances with Skeletons, and she told us about it. We also met her daughter, the actual "girl who dances with skeletons"! There's a lot more than Thomas Kincaide's here. There's some great illustrative art and literary gifts galore. I walked out with two delicious candles: "The Writer" and "Gatsby." They had a wonderful selection of Motawi Tiles and I found one that depicted an oak on a golden hill. It looked like a perfect California scene (and it turned out, it is indeed part of a California-themed series of tiles). I also considered some necklaces that were done in life-like leaves. The shopkeeper was so pleasant. We had a great conversation. I really appreciated that I was able to get the "local's discount" since my mother-in-law is the local who brought me by. I'm not sure when I'll be able to return to Arkansas and Eureka Springs, but when I do, this place is a must for a return visit!
