I went to get a spiral perm for my wedding. I spent a lot of money on it because I wanted to look nice for my wedding and honeymoon. It turned out really bad. The top of my head is wavy and the bottom of my hair is really straight. To be honest I'm very embarrassed to go out in public and I am constantly putting my hair up. I wanted to have it styled down for my wedding but it looks like I'm going to have to put it up, which is not what I wanted to do! When I asked them if they could fix it all they offered me was to teach me how to style it. That does not fix my issue! I considered cutting my hair short to make it look better. I'm very upset by it because I've spent the past 2 years growing it out so it will be long for my special day. read more

I'm admittedly guilty of delaying appointments due to my busy work schedule, yet I still received compliments about my hair long after the timeframe in which I should've followed up. It's such a relief to be able to give a stylist the general look that you're going for and trust her judgment regarding the small details. I've seen complaints about the prices at this salon, but I believe that you get what you pay for. Adam is amazing! He cured my COVID related hair ( never DIY your hair)! He cut, colored and curled my hair back into something presentable. The salon has open spaces and lots of natural light. Everyone who works here was very professional and adhered to COVID precautions such as checking temperatures, disinfecting, and wearing masks. My service was superb. Highly recommend ! read more

I got my hair bleached and dyed blue in January by another salon and they TRASHED it. I'm talking serious breakage. I have been nursing it back to health and trying to blend the difference in length into my hair. I went to see Alexis today and decided to get a side shave and also touch up the blue and my hair looks AMAZING! She blended the shorter hairs in so it looks like it's on purpose and the color is phenomenal! My hair feels softer and I am feeling confident and she was so great. I was really nervous about finding a new salon that could do a good job of hair color, after moving back to Denver. Absolutely love this salon! I've been here twice since moving to Denver for a haircut once with Aleahmarie, and once with Dana both were fantastic! Very cozy cute, and everyone is so friendly. Offered a drink while I waited, then was given a scalp massage and wash before the cut, but my favorite part is the blowout. The style looks great and lasts for days. The 5 star rating Studio 303 has is definitely on point. I called a few days ahead to schedule my appointment and they had an opening during the time I wanted. Usually with my old hair stylist - she had me schedule out 2 months in advance just for a haircut. The fact that I could get in early on a Saturday was wonderful. I have a pretty low maintenance hair routine and Tommy understood and gave me a fabulous haircut but also a gentle education about how I can improve hair health and manage my fine unruly locks, and I will listen to his suggestion not to trim my own bangs ;). I felt my experience was completely tailored to my personal hair "issues" and will be back. It is a warm and friendly salon. read more

I'm so happy that I found this salon as the one I had been going to for over 10 years just closed! I found Studio 303 via Yelp and Channel 7's A-List. The stylist I went to is Lauren who comes to Denver by way of the East coast. She is very educated (we like stylists who are up on their education)! She gave me the greatest hair cut / style (it was exactly what I wanted), and really did a fabulous number on my hair color. This was so worth the money! The studio has a punch card....who thinks of that?!?! They're a great group of stylists and they made me feel welcomed, pampered and stylish - everyone complimented how pretty I looked before I left. Do yourself a favor and give Studio 303 a try - you won't be sorry one bit! read more

If you are looking for a trendy spalike atmosphere in your hair salon, a Visit to Studio 303 will be a welcome relief to the everyday stresses of your life. As you enter, the decor is serene yet modern, with neutral colors, succulent terrarium plants with a feel for up-cycled accent furniture pieces. The vibe is like a trendy hipster's* NYC industrial style loft. *I am cautious of using this word because while Leah and her staff are cute and cool---they are not in an sense the negative connotation of the word: hipster. Beyond the space, the owner Leah is an extremely talented stylist. I trust her judgement completely. She always starts our visits by asking for feedback on how I liked my hair last time, and what I plan to do now. I always get blonde foil highlights/lowlights. And boy does Leah know what she's doing with Hair Color. When I ask for it specifically, sometimes we do a special hair treatment for my dry hair. As for the cut, with Leah's supervision, My hair is longer than it has been since high school and it feels more full than ever. After the cut Leah will style my hair in one of three ways: a bouncy blow out, a beach wave curled blow out or one time we did a fun braid because i was running a 5k the next day. Of course I am confident she is capable of 10000 more styles, I just like my hair blown out at the end of a cut. I ALWAYS get compliments!!!! At the end of the visit, there is NEVER any uncomfortable pressure to buy products. Though, I usually end up buying the Joico K-Pak treatment because Leah recommended it once and true to her word, it makes my hair soft and shiny----I Love it. I had my hair cut by Tommy a few weeks ago. I showed him pictures of the exact hair style I wanted which consisted of collar length hair and very layered sides. My hair has been cut this style many times, so I know it is not rocket science. After showing him the photo, he said that my hair was already basically cut in the style. But, then he said the layered/feathered look in the photo was due to styling and not the cut. This should have been my a red flag because there is no way the style was due to drying. It had to be layered! As far as the length, my hair was pretty much the exact length of the photo and Tommy agreed that not much had to be taken off. Anyway, the cut did not look anything like the photo. It looks more like a pixie or bob - way too short and hardly no layers. He also cut some pieces near my crown so short, they they stick up now. I was so disappointed, I almost cried. Now, I have to wait for it to grow out. UGH@#$ read more

For a place that boasts balayage experience, I was underwhelmed. My hair stylist was friendly and the aesthetic of the salon was nice. I was desperate to get my hair cut after the shut down, and I found Mary Jo from reviews on Yelp. She was really sweet and I enjoyed talking to her! The cut was pretty good, although when I got home I realized there weren't as many layers as I'd wanted. I was really disappointed and frustrated when I went to pay for the cut. I only got a cut - no color, no other treatments, and I was charged $68! Their website advertises women's cuts for $42 (honestly one of the reasons I booked). I didn't feel that it was worth $68 at all, and I'll be heading back to my normal stylist to get my layers fixed next month. I hope they adjust their pricing to reflect the prices they'll charge you on their website. read more

I can't say enough about what a great experience I had at this salon last night! Leah was bubbly and welcoming from the moment I walked in the door, it was only later that I learned she was my stylist AND the salon owner! I was also lucky to have got an appointment within two days of my call. I have been wanting the perfect cool blonde, an almost white but still kind of natural color, very little yellow or gold, but not grey or ashy. As you can imagine, that's both a very specific and very vague request. I've been trying to get this color out of my head and onto my hair for over 4 years now to no avail, leaving various salons disappointed every time I've tried. Leah listened attentively and was very receptive to thoughts and concerns, then she proceeded to completely NAIL IT! She also trimmed my hair, being careful not to take too much off but still taking enough off that it feels healthy and incredible again, and made sure to ask before trimming my bangs (I've had some stylists just trim them, terribly, on their own accord.) Lastly, she stayed well past closing time to make sure my hair was beautifully styled, even though I had nowhere to go! She just wanted to make sure I felt beautiful and teach me a new way to curl my hair. I would definitely recommend this salon and I will be returning!
