This is a professionally - run ballet studio that also offers modern, jazz, tap, etc. lessons. The…read moreballet instructors are all former principal dancers or from the Pittsburgh Ballet theater. The studio is on Rt. 19 and Rowan Road now and is newly remodeled and very nice! The rooms are mirrored and have mounted barres along 3 of the 4 walls - no portable barres. Everyone there is so nice and friendly and the instruction is kind, yet demanding! I highly recommend this studio!

Since 2016 this non-profit group of folks has been bringing some delightful productions to the community with some very talented thespians, directors, production crews, and artists of all kinds to put on a variety of outstanding productions. My daughter has been in shows here and I had a distinct pleasure, on Father's day, of attending a most excellent production of "Harps and Harmonicas". She is currently looking to be in one or more productions here in the near future and I have been impressed with the people involved in this great little community theater both out front and behind the scenes. This season (202) has The Boys Next Door, The Mad Ones, Doubt: A Parable and Musical on tap so far this season. Bottom line: They need more parking so if you don't arrive early you might be pressed to seek it out on the surrounding streets, the theater isn't huge but it's quaint and there are some really talented folks here with a lot of heart. I wanted to enroll my 5 year old autistic son in an hour class session per week for the ninja…read moreclass. I was told because my son was not potty trained that he wasn't allowed to go. My son has delayed potty training due to his autism and was so excited to go to these ninja classes and I was more than happy to stay during the class if he needed a diaper change. So the only problem here is a complete lack of understanding from this company. I used to think highly of this place but from now on I will definitely not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. I personally am sad for my son that he cannot enjoy his ninja class is like every other boy and girl because of his autism. This is discrimination!!!

We've been with x-cel for three years now. Their baby love…read morebugs level was such a wonderful way tonintroduce our son to movement and gymnastics. He loved it and I give all the respect in the world to his teacher, Miss Becky, who wrangles little ones in the most loving and positive way. I could not do her job and she does it with joy and a genuine smile on her face. We are lucky to have her!! We've now progressed to their roly poly level and have loved every step of the way. The new building is amazing and they have done so any amazing themes for the kids (whoville, superheros, chemistry, frozen, they decorate and go WAY above and beyond!!) We've also hosted a birthday party here and it was fantastic. The room where they set up the cake is a little small but they decorated and provided everything we could have needed. Then the kids spent a ton of time in the two different gyms and there was a fantastic blow up obstacle course and bouncy house. They offer so many extras for kids throughout the year (parents night out parties, different themed parties, it's amazing!) I would absolutely recommend x-cel for gymnastics classes or a birthday party!

I have been at this Cinema a couple of years back and enjoyed the movie and theatre. Well this time…read morewas a little different it is an odd thing that happened and probably doesn't happen all the time if ever but there was only 4 employees which none looked more than 16 or 17 years old and I don't blame them it is the manager problem and should have a lead person that is more experienced working with them. So we were in the film about 15 minutes and there was a thunderstorm that knocked out the electricity and then it came right back on but the fire alarm came on thought out the whole place and first we all waited about 15 minutes before an employee came in he told us to stay seated and they would be starting the film again and get the alarm off, 2 minutes later he came back and said everyone had to go to the lobby and the firemen would be turning off the alarm. So the whole lobby was full and the firemen men came but they had to check each theater room and they worked on turning off alarm. We stayed for 35 minutes but they still could not get the alarm to stop, so we asked for a voucher for another time and received it. You could clearly see that the employees were not trained for this kind of situation.
