I did all paperwork by myself. he did not help me at all!   Negligence and incompetence. he did nothing so I want to find another CPA to help me out with my IRA account, however, I already paid him 5k before the case started, and I want my refund because he did not help me and did not fulfill the contract and did not assist me for my issues.  so I also ask him to send me hourly bills and he did not send me any right away, one day later he lies made up the number of hours and worked FAKE numbers on the billing list.  I E-signed an engagement letter with him on 09/27/2022 and I called him BEFORE I sign anything he told me there is no fee yet. he will start work after I signed and pay him 5k. but in the bill list, he charged me 9 hours and 30 mins before we have an agreement and before I even signed the engagement letter.   08/24/22 Client's Tax Returns received & saved 0:15 08/28/22 Reveiwed tax returns & setup files 2:00 09/01/22 Performed research in IRS revenue code 1:30 09/15/22 Performed research in IRS revenue procedures 5:30 09/22/22 Engagement Letter reviewed and sent 0:15 and he charges me total of 15 hours30 mins for researching! I do not hire Andrew Lu to learn some basic accounting knowledge. he should know those when he is at school. He charges 235/hrs which means that is $3642.5!  It the too simple narrative for a 15 hours and 30 minutes task. What research you performed, on what IRS procedure, and IRS code, and for what purposes do you need to conduct this research? Why do you need to conduct this research beyond your basic CPA knowledge? And he even charges you for receiving the file. I sent him my tax returns before we signed, and he put in the bill that the client's tax returns received and save for 15mins! I have never seen anyone receive an email and saving one file took 15mins long!   I did not give you any 1099 documents yet, technically your job did not start yet. but he told me there is no money for refund I used them all!  What?  you do not have the numbers for you to prepare any documents. and He can charge you for something he did not do it. we had phone call for a total of 20 mins he put 30mins on the bill, I do have all the proofs that he is Fraud, deceit, and misrepresentation in professional practice.  people please be smart and do not hire this guy, he has no knowledge, and he has no professional integrity.
