But Gary didn't even talk about the project, it was more of a comfort level check and I 100% appreciated this. A project of this size, the amount of money behind it. It's not something easy. He allowed us ask any questions and emailed us all responses, we had A LOT OF QUESTIONS, but he was able to answer it all. On December of 2021, We were down 2 contractors, Gary's company and the other (wont mention their name). We went to see Gary, meet the team again, mostly all family, which I thought was amazing. After our 6th meeting we finally committed to using Gary and Ambassador Home and Improvement. He then introduce us to Lou T, our architect, another amazing guy in this whole process he was pretty much side by side with us the whole time CAN NOT THANK LOU T. enough for all his efforts and hard work! Doug F. our project manager, Doug was with us the whole ride. Step by step, piece by piece, tile by tile. He would constantly text us with updates or when items would arrive. He even went out of his way several times to meet delivery people at our front door if we weren't available. Great guy, after 6 months of being in our house. We still stay in contact. He answers a lot of my dumb questions. Thanks Doug. Kudos to you. All is all, I rarely write out reviews. But the work and the customer service that Ambassador, Gary, Doug and Lou provide myself and my family was world class and wanted to share this with the public. Overall, the experience was very positive and the finished work met our expectations. Chris was easy to work with and consistently receptive to our input. We had a number of specific requests, and he was willing to accommodate them, even when changes were requested after work had already been completed. As an example, after seeing the new steps, we decided we preferred a different configuration and asked to replace five steps with four taller steps. Chris agreed to redo the work so that the result matched what we wanted. Pricing was fair and clearly explained. Each part of the project was priced separately, which made the process transparent and straightforward. We always understood what was included and how costs were structured. We met Marty by a referral when looking to update the front of our home. Our original pavers were 40+ years old. We loved the unique shape and style but needed a refresh. From start to finish, Marty was punctual, communicated well, delivered beautiful stone work and offered very competitive pricing. We used a combination of bluestone, cobblestone, culturestone and Cambridge cobalt pavers. MJD nailed the half moon shape and retained the look we adored and even added a planters box to highlight tree we have out front. We loved it so much, fast forward one year later we brought back MJD for our back patio. Work included steppingstones, full "figure 8" pool coping and pavers including plumbing (which MJD coordinated), columns to our bar, and a planters box.
