I've heard great things about Orthopedic Rehab in general- they have a lot of locations- this location is really good. My physical therapist was Micah. He is very good. He also does dry needling and I felt like he did very well with that- he explained everything and normalized the process and was in tune and sensitive with how I was handling it. Micah is smart and knows what he is doing. You spend some time with your physical therapist and then have techs and assistants who walk you through your exercises and treatments. Overall I appreciated each one who worked with me. One tech in particular seemed distant and I felt like he shamed me when I arrived at the wrong time for an appointment (I'm not convinced that was my fault) and that really bothered me. But the people working are personable, caring and knowledgable. Their equipment is good and I enjoyed observing the interactions with other patients and among the team. There are TV's in the rehab area and I got a real kick out of how into The Price Is Right the staff seemed each time I was there. :) I had frustrations with scheduling. I think about 30% of the time (and I went A LOT and for A LONG TIME) there were mistakes made with my scheduling- either the day, time, which treatment I was having, or even the therapist I was seeing. I think improvements need to be made in their scheduling system. The front desk staff, especially more recently, are warm and on top of things. This office has recently added services for women's health which I think is awesome. They don't take my insurance (Aetna) but they were fair in their prices which I respected. The owner/manager of this location, Chad, is extremely personable and seems like a good leader. There were some times I felt like the staff were giving up on me, indifferent to me, distracted or maybe even a little uncommitted. I think that could have been because I was a patient longer than most other people, and maybe my own discouragement that I wasn't getting enough better rubbed off on them. Overall, though, my experience was positive and I will highly recommend this location of Orthopedic Rehab.

As it turns out, my dizziness would best be addressed, most likely, by steroids for potential labyrinthitis (inflammation of the ear tubes) rather than other causes that could be addressed through physical therapy but Emily was the first clinician to take the time examining my symptoms and testing for various issues.

He massaged aching muscles in a way that made me SO much more relaxed than when I arrived. I've been to other physical therapist but Jason really took the time to get to know me. I've had two surgeries on my neck so my issues are focused on the neck, shoulders and back. Jason didn't just tell me how to stretch, but he helped me through the stretches. He helped push my body in ways that released tension in places I didn't even realized needed that stretch. All in all, I felt great when I left and have appointments booked for the next two weeks. If you're in pain, give Select Physical Therapy a try. It's early in my progress but I have high hopes that this treatment will bring me relief.

Last year Kristin Schumann was my physical therapist for my hip. Because of her, I don't need hip…read morereplacement surgery yet, and I can still (after 1 year) walk, dance, and even run a bit if necessary without pain. Before PT with Kristen, I needed my husband's help to get out of the car or walk without possibly collapsing because of the pain. I just finished another 8 weeks of PT with Kristin for my upper back/neck area, and once again I'm convinced she's the best Physical Therapist I've ever had, and I've had many others during my 73 years on earth. She lets me work really hard, but is careful to insure I don't get hurt. She's always giving me different and creative exercises so I've never been bored. She finds ways to adapt the PT she provides with her to the PT I do at home. She always gives me copies of and instructions for my home exercises. I also appreciate how honest Kristen has always been with me. You will be greatly blessed if Kristen is your Physical Therapist! Scheduling doesn't care how much pain you're in, they just blow off your call saying you just have to wait weeks for someone to call you. Very dismissive. Dr. Stanton's office was also dismissive and gave me no pain meds. Also, the Express Care "doctor", probably a PA or NP, misread my hip x-ray and referred me to a hip doc -- another several weeks to be scheduled. I went to another orthopedic surgeon and my hip is bone on bone and I need a hip replacement. They didn't give me anything for pain either. Just Malixicam. I can barely walk I'm in so much pain.
