Can't remember if I've ever been through this town. Typical drive in Texas where I'm stuck behind 18 wheelers and of course at least one farm tractor for miles. Coordinating with my coworker who was driving in from Plainview for pickup we literally texted each other with a two minute difference in arrival time. The Crossing was the first gas station / convenience store I saw in town. Pulled in and once the exchange was done we ventured in for a potty break and drinks. First time seeing a salad bar in this type of business. And, it actually looked appealing! We've all traveled major roads in whatever state you're from. Yes, I've snickered at gas station sushi in Mississippi. There are things you DON'T want in this setting. Yet, The Crossing made it look seamless. Clean bathrooms at least on the mens side. Usual suspects like Hunt Brothers pizza present and a glass case full of fried goodness too. I think they do burgers too? We grabbed drinks not big enough for a million stops to return and went our separate ways. Ten employees working but nobody was super friendly.

Not as big as a Buccee's, but it does have clean restrooms, fuel at competitive prices, all kinds of snacks, drinks, hot food, souvenirs and miscellaneous items you may need while on the road. There is a dine in seating area as well as an outside covered dining area, a dog park, and plenty of walkways to stretch your legs. The employees I met were very friendly and helpful. I'll certainly be returning when I'm in the area.

I stopped here looking for a rest stop while passing through on the highway. The exterior is clean and has a fresh appearance. I was surprised to find a full grocery store inside. I suppose if you live here you could find everything you need. As a passer-through it was more than I was looking for. The restrooms were clean and single-occupancy. The staff wore masks, but none of the customers we saw did. This was a recurring theme in the smaller towns we stopped in. Recommended for a high way stop if you have gas or grocery needs!

The pumps were fast. Unlike other stations I had been to earlier that day, this one has diesel, but their prices were higher than many further down south. Here were the DK prices: Diesel = $3.24 Regular = $2.65 (87 Octane) Plus = $2.95 (89) Premium = $3.25 (91) Nice clean lot, but not a huge one like the new ones they're building. I'm a fan.

This gas station in Barnhart, TX charges very high prices for gasoline compared to other gas…read morestations in nearby towns. Even other Alon gas stations in the area are not charging such outrageously high gas prices and they are using the same gasoline supplier. The electronic gas price display is turned off in order to avoid scaring customers away. No paper receipt from the gas pump if you ask it print one. Paper is very expensive you know. Skip this gas station and to one of the nearby towns for gas.
