I really liked the different ornament styles. They were very Scandinavian. There's Christmas cards, Christmas napkins, table decor, and other small Knick knacks. They also have a sale section. The building itself is very interesting to look at. The stairways are not straight.

I originally wanted to visit because I had read they carry Lucky Boy Sunday dolls here; they had a few which were very cute but expensive. Many adorable children's backpacks, bags, dishes, cups, baby and toddler toys, books, etc. We bought Pippi Longstocking picture books here for our nieces, along with some Elsa Beskow printed sippy cups. Lots of high quality, adorable toys to indulge in. This was my favorite children's store we saw while visiting Scandinavia. He's in love with his collection and gets super excited to go on trips and find these stores. Outland is a chain that serves many communities in Norway. It has a very large selection of many different collectables, books and games. To be quite honest, I was shocked at how large the store was and just how many different items they had. It was pretty much like shopping for this sort of thing in the US or UK. We made our way to the MTG section, which was not the largest I've seen but not tiny either. Unfortunately, they have never printed these cards in Norwegian so my husband was not able to get them in a different language this trip but he did get to buy a couple of packs and they were cheaper than in the US, so he was very happy. He actually pulled a card that paid for a pack so he was ecstatic. The people working here are great. They answered all the questions and were very friendly and accommodating.

The stores here are the same as you'd find in any mall I've been to in Norway so nothing really impressed me or wow'd me in terms of variety, but it was easy to navigate around and was overall pretty clean. In keeping with Norway traditions, keep your 10 Kroner on you so you have it ready in the event you need to use the restroom. It's connected to a Ton hotel which is convenient if you're a guest there. Honestly, nothing really blew my mind here.
