supposedly world's #1 downhill slope.
Well, it seems to me that the layout is pretty damn good, unfortunately this year's march snow was a little lacking so i can't really compare it. However, I expected more outdoor terraces on the way for what makes a perfect viewing of a downhill race if not hanging out in the sun with a beer in your hand?
But more importantly, edge protection was insufficient - if not lacking completely in some areas, which for the world's premier downhill run is unacceptable.
no timing devices, no slope-to lift direct access (you have to cross the street and walk on asphalt for at least 200m)
familiestreif is curving around the main run in some areas and is pretty crowded with, well, families :) - unfortunately said families have to get on into the main run inevitably in some spots, which makes it impossible to enjoy a fast top-to-bottom high speed run for those so inclined...
3 stars is well deserved but that's it! read more
