Being an artist, your body constantly needs adjusting, so I always leave out feeling better than when I came in. Dr. Guerriero is very patient, knowledgeable, thorough, and takes time with each patient. He has great bedside manners and a very calming demeanor. The atmosphere is very low key and chill which I really appreciate especially being somewhat of an introvert. He fixed me up in two visits! Fast forward two years, and the problem has reared its ugly head again. (Now almost my entire office sees Dr. G.) This time, the problem was much worse, so I was afraid he either wouldn't be able to help or it would take 37 visits. Nope - it took 3. Obviously my cases may be different than yours, but here's what I love about Pro-Active. - It's small, and you get super personal attention. Stephanie is the only other staff person besides the doctor, and she answers the phones, makes appointments, greets you, takes your payment, AND gets you set up with the STEM unit or laser. She's probably the nicest person I've ever met. - Dr. G isn't just going to pop you and send you on your way. Most of what he does is active release therapy using pressure to relieve your pain. He only pops and cracks you if you truly need it, and sometimes I don't need it. - Dr. G is really down-to-earth, and he doesn't rush through your treatment. He also genuinely wants to help you as quickly as possible and doesn't try to talk you into coming for additional appointments you don't need (as I've had other chiropractors try to do). My current slate of doctors are happy to put me on medications to treat the symptoms, but none of them are interested in curing the diseases. Dr. Ernst's practice is located in the Smiths Corner Shopping Center next to Northern Tool. It's the only storefront that you can't see inside of. The office makes great use of the space. There are exam rooms, treatment rooms, rooms for staff and even an X-ray machine. The staff is very professional and friendly. I felt that I was meant to be there. My time wasn't rushed and I was given a tour of the facility and made to feel like I had value. It was a nice change from every doctor's office that I have ever been to. I'm looking forward to seeing the results of my lab work and developing a plan to get better.
