I saw these reviews while looking up the address for Strawberry Patch which came recommended as I'm new in town. Reading these, I went in a little scared but prepared for an attitude. To my surprise, I was instead greeted with an extremely pleasant welcoming. I had three pairs of pants repaired, picked them up a week later as promised and they came out better than I thought they could! Not sure about everyone else but maybe you should toughen up or be more pleasant yourself to get a pleasant response. This is now my go to place! =) read more

I have known Heidi for 30 years and although some have written here about her demeanor, I know that she is a concerned nice and honest lady. As the only one in her shop and reduced hours she has to run her shop like a real business and pay attention to what a person is wanting done so not to make an error. She does this, then you go! and she gets back to her machine and previous orders to have them ready. We are lucky to have her here there are not many people around here can do or will do the work and has the right machine to sew the more delicate fabrics. on a social note... she is a great gal and a funny person to be around socially but we all know work time is work. it is the only way to run a little business and pay the rent. read more

Has bad language and aditude. Too my dress their to be altered and when she was done she threw it on the floor and kicked it out of her was and told me it wouldn't hurt it because it was a wedding dress and be mistreated anyway. I do not recommend her at all . I paid alot of money for my dress to be threw on the floor and kicked out the way . I will never go back to her. read more

The lady that works in this store is so unbelievably rude, it felt like I was in a movie or being pranked. I sat down my prom dress and the women quietly mumbled something....there was another family in the room that she was working with, so I thought she was speaking to them. Upon not answering her or following her command, she said extremely sharply, "well, are you just going to stand there, or are you going to take it out of the bag?" In shock, and with a facial expression to prove my shock and my frustration with her prissy attitude (I'm not a shy person, I am very transparent with my emotions), the woman said, "take it out of the bag, and I don't know what that face is about, but you better lose it." And to say the least, I did lose it. Just not the way she wanted. I grabbed my dress, asked her what the hell was wrong with her, left, and before the door shut I said I would make it my personal mission that her business never sees another customer. I live in a very small town, I grew up here, and I have never ONCE met one person who can tolerate this woman and her attitude. Every time I tell this story, the person I'm telling it to always tells me their horror story with this woman. I've had many dresses and pants altered here. Always does great work, always a fair price! A good seamstress is a rare find!

As the other reviewer stated: the owner's verbal abuse is so extreme, it's hard to imagine she's been in business all these years. I've lived in this area part-time for over 10 years and wish, wish someone at least amicable would offer basic alterations. read more
